Your typical Southern greasy spoon that I can’t ever get enough of. I find that this particular location has the best service in Tallahassee. It’s also the best place in town to people watch at 2am after college students have left area nightclubs. Of course, the waffles are great, but their hash browns have always been my favorite item on the menu. I personally like’em covered, capped, topped, and country(that is, with cheese, mushrooms, chili, and cholesterol-boosting, yet orgasmically delicious sausage gravy). It’s worth the calories.

I love Waffle House and it’s so good every single time I go! I always get the same thing and it’s so delicious. I’m never disappointed this location is looking better from when I first started going… servers/service is always good even when it’s busy!

Food was barely warm when it came to the table. It was like the food was just thrown together without any care. This was my second time eating at a Waffle House and I was very disappointed after having such great food the first time around.

Five stars for the quintessential diner experience. Booths to accommodate ectomorphs from yesteryear, six-seater bar overlooking the griddle/kitchen show. Jukebox always functional. Waffle House is found across the South and in my experience, all offer a similar experience«right outta Americana». For me — enjoying the experience means sitting at the bar — preferably the right-most swivel. This seat affords exceptional vistas overlooking the dishwasher station, panoramic displays down the kitchen galley, and when 180 degrees from the action — the lively intersection of Tennessee and Ocala. Customer service is taken seriously here. Whether at a slow-point or in the veritable weeds, servers and cooks alike are apt to greet you as you come in. The men’s room has always been clean and well lit, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant(front of the house and visible back of the house) is noticeable.

Good place for brunch and dinner. I like the all star waffle value meal. I have a good memory there. The service is good.

Waffle house, oh Waffle house, if only there wasn’t a such thing as diabetes. haha. This waffle house will always hold a special place in my heart, nothing like getting a table at 3am after a good night of partying with co-workers or showing up at noon ready to have breakfast after a long Saturday night. This particular Waffle house is a little sticky, but nothing like a beautiful and delicious waffle, always cooked to perfection.

Before I came to Tally I had never been to a Waffle House. SOrry but I always thought it was trucker food on unnamed roads that were setting for horror movies. But this one is right up the street! So this is the late night spot for those late night study sessions or a «I want a waffle» moment. The food is always good. Southern breakfast — sticks to your ribs — falling asleep in a rocking chair food. But the service changes a lot because the staff is always changing. There are some warm friendly types and then there are a few«I hate my job but it pays to work» types. Thankfully the grumpy people never seem to last long. Only downfall is the location — it’s right in the middle of everything so the waits can get extremely long and they can almost never pick up the phone to do a call in order.

Sticky, gooey, smelly and open 24 hours. Waffle House is everywhere! No, for real, it’s in my hair, on my jeans, both elbows and somehow it made it all over the back of my jacket! I could smell the WH experience all they way home. Screw iHop and Denny’s I want a WH in Los Angeles. Sometimes you need a waffle and some cheese grits at 3 am! For the money you just can’t beat it. One fluffy waffle, two eggs, grits, toast, coffee and two bacon or susage for less than $ 5! Now if only they would add fried chicken to the menu… oh wait we have Rosco’s already.
