My family & I love to try new food places. We’ve driven by here a few times & decided to try it on my lunch. I had the Vertigo burger just because of the jalapeños. By far it’s the best fries I’ve tasted since we’ve lived in Tally. Definitely recommend for anyone that wants a burger and fry.

My closest friends and family can tell you that for me, comfort food takes shape in the sweetness of a cheeseburger and fries. While my palate has evolved and I can now enjoy stuff like kale and quinoa… my heart will forever belong to a good burger and fries. Vertigo delivers. Went for lunch with a seasoned Vertigo patron who could guide me through their diverse menu. Diverse fare including a shrimp burger, duck burger, and buffalo chicken burger(Try all 13 and you get one free with a loyalty card!). So I got a ‘Local’ cooked Medium, is there even any other way to cook it?!, with half a side of sweet potato fries(trust me it’s plenty). Came lathered in Vertigo sauce, a savory concoction, Perfectly toasted buns, a Tender grass fed beef patty from KBH Farms, Crisp local arugula, and Creamy cheese Sweet Grass Dairy. Go local, seriously… A little slow to get the food but worth the wait. Great service and Tbh I’d forgive most from them, with their Delish burgers.

I have been here a few times. A solid 4 stars. Food is good, but typically lacks enough seasoning to make it really good. The order process is a bit wonky, but not unlike other places that have the same system. I’ll go back, but with so many burger places in Tally, this doesn’t stand out to me in order to get me to make this a «destination» spot.

Awesome burger place with awesome burger choices! The burgers are fresh and cooked to order. My burger has been cooked perfect every single time. Fries are crispy and have the perfect amount of salt on them. The food takes a little while to come out but that’s only because they cook it fresh to order so the wait is 100% worth it! My favorite burger is the southern spin. The triple throw down is awesome as well. Bottom line, I don’t think you could get anything that was bad here.

Fantastic burger joint with a great selection all home made, cooked to your choice burgers with fresh ingredients and a wide selection of beef, veg, chicken etc. All served by nice, friendly staff — quickly and efficiently. Great selection of craft beers as well makes this a really good place that I will certainly go back to again.

I love you guys!!! The yummiest lamb patties in town. Their specials are awesome. Fried green tomatoes?=yum! Though I would like to see the sides come as part of the entrees. Prices are reasonable also.

First-time 29OCT15. I asked for a recommendation from the order counter and she instantly said«Vertigo!» I agreed and added a ½ order of onion rings. Both were among the best I’ve ever had. The Vertigo burger is a large, hand-formed, tender burger topped with egg, cheese, remoulade, and bacon on a bed of grill-top jalapeños. It was perfect from the first bite. The Onion rings were nice too, sweet onions with a spicy coating, perfectly fried. The price was reasonable too, and you can have a quality draft craft brew to boot. I will be back next visit to Tallahassee. Servers came out three times out to the patio to see if I needed anything and if my meal was satisfactory. Appreciate the attention y’all, made for a great burger experience.

I love this place. On my most recent visit, my favorite burger was not up to the usual level. I love the Southern Spin. But my medium burger came out well done and the fried green tomatoes were too thick and too hard — there was on the bottom and one on the top of the burger. My sweet potato fries were totally delicious. I ordered the special millkshake — a salted caramel milkshake. Vertigo’s ice cream is small batch artisan ice cream made for the Vertigo location and the fine dining place owned by the same people, Cypress. The vanilla ice cream is amazing. Worth every calorie.

Had the texican twist and an order of onion rings. Definitely hit the spot. Burger joints may be a dime a dozen but the truly good ones are rare. I will definitely be back to try out the rest of their menu.

Just stopped here for lunch with my coworkers. I had passed it a few times and decided today was the day. Went ahead and ordered a «Greak Burger», which is basically a Gyro in burger form. It was good, but nothing to talk about. I didn’t order a side, but I hear the onion rings are great. Vertigo is a good place to go ahead and try, but there are certainly better burger joints around Tallahassee. Dig In!

The trendy, burger stand provides a thought-out menu with head-over-heels burgers and other scrumptious handhelds. Riding high in popularity, Vertigo provides a sterile atmosphere for its customers. From businessmen to construction workers, you’ll find everyone in between looking to get their burger on. The Triple Throw Down contains a few of my favorite things: bacon, blue cheese, caramelized onions and horseradish sauce. The burger was juicy and mouthwatering. My only qualm would be the lack of horseradish sauce to give the burger that extra kick we all love. Maybe the sauce is prepared on the mild side, but I expected more of a punch. Unfortunately, fries aren’t included with the burger, jacking up the price to over $ 10. They offer full orders and half orders of fries. The onion rings are spectacular and I wish I ordered them this time around. The skin-on fries are just too salty; extremely over seasoned for my liking. I’m already eating a burger and fries, the extra salt for my impending heart attack isn’t required. Ultimately, 10-minute ticket times, friendly staff and tasty burgers are a win-win situation. Again, I can’t emphasize enough the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. Also, the hip décor from the street invites the high traffic street corner in for a quick bite. Even Scottie Ferguson’s head would spin for a Vertigo burger.

Meh. I want so badly to like this place but it seems that everything is just okay. Burgers are upwards of $ 8 and don’t come with fries, so it’s also overpriced. Tried the shrimp burger, which had potential, but the okra made it slimy. Have also tried the duck burger, and it was dry, had entirely too much bleu cheese, and lacked a decent portion of the cherry compote topping that drew me toward it in the first place.

Great burger place! Busy but efficient on a Saturday afternoon. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We had our food in about 10 minutes. I got the round here burger which was awesome! Perfectly cooked, loved the cheese and the thin onion. The hubby got a Vertigo Burger which has a fried egg with a perfectly runny yolk, he loved it! We ordered the grilled chicken fingers for my son(who is very picky), and he gobbled them up. We shared onion rings, sweet potato fries and regular fries. All were amazing, crisp and well seasoned. We will be back!

Fabulous juicy burgers with buttery bun. I search the country for perfect burgers! While these are on the small size– easy to finish with the delicious fries and a beer. Good beer selection with fun tasting nights with nearby breweries. The toppings make these burgers unique– tremor truffle cheese, bacon, aioli. Duck burger. Small dining area but nice to sit outside. Very casual but tasty burger — if you are a foodie. Pimento stuffed jalapeño. Yum!!! Try the triple throw down or vertigo burger. Top in my list.

It is a nice little place to grab a few beers and eat some burgers with your buddies. The menu has all these unique combinations of burgers. They range from ones with chorizo, horseradish, quinoa, jalapenos, truffle cheese, or even a duck burger. I love the range in the choices and hopefully I can try more to figure out the best here. The beer choices also tend to stay fairly local and I like how they stick to supporting local crafts. When I came I just got the Vertigo burger since it is the name of the restaurant. A beef burger with a fried egg, bacon, and jalapenos the combination was great. They cook their burgers medium, so ask them if you want it another way. The size of the burger is so tiny though that you definitely need to order fries or a shake to make yourself full. Some people complain about their fries, but I liked the plain salt and pepper seasoning taste. The service is generally average and the prices are kinda high. It sometimes feels like it is trying to be something greater than it really is, though it is not bad at all.

The best thing Vertigo has going for it is the creativity in the menu. 12 clever burgers and sandwiches with interesting ingredients, delicious combinations and pun-tastic names keep you guessing and wanting to try more. I feasted on the«Round Here» burger, which uses ingredients local to the Tallahassee area. Score! Meat from KBH farms in south Georgia, Sweet Grass Dairy cheese from the Thomasville area and vidalia onions, locally farmed arugula, plus vertigo sauce — a mayo based sauce. The burger was good sized, juicy and cooked to my preference of «medium,» and served in a sleeve on a silver metal cafeteria tray. For $ 1.95 more you can get a half-side of fresh cut fries, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Basic, basic fries with no seasoning or flavor and not worth the price or calories unfortunately. Maybe trying something else would give me a pep in my step after leaving Vertigo, but for now it’s just A-OK.

Came back again and had the Dizzy Duck I believe it was called, and man was it good. How many places do you know has a great tasting ground duck burger? The cherry compote, arugula, and blue cheese paired with it so well. At the moment, this place has become my favorite burger place in town.
