The Shoe Box

Jeff just helped me. I have very hard to fit feet. Usually embarrassing. Everyone was sooooo helpful, including the poor stock guy! I bet I tried on 30 – 40 pairs! Found 4 pairs– navy, black, brown and burgundy. If you are tired of painful shoes, and trying to find comfortable shoes at big box stores– GO HERE! Thanks all!

Let me start by saying I do not like driving far from home. The Shoe Box is not close, but I was experiencing significant discomfort (posterior tibial tendonitis), and I needed real, honest-​to-​goodness help. I was told by the very competent people working at The Shoe Box that the biggest problem they see is incorrect fit, so I climbed onto their magic measuring machine, and lo and behold, I have been wearing shoes too small and too wide. Hmmmmm. .. I didn’t believe it, so I made them measure me again. Raymond, my shoe professional, was patient and understanding. We were together for over an hour, and when I left, I was the proud owner of the MOST amazingly comfortable pair of shoes and sneakers with orthotic inserts which make me feel like I can walk for 20 miles. I’m a bit poorer, but my tendon is feeling SO much better (after only 1 day). How can you put a price tag on your feet? The answer: YOU CAN’T. This is, by far, THE BEST shoe store in town. Do not hesitate — GO — even if you have to drive far from home.

You know those places where you are treated well and anything you pick is quality? Well this is one of those places. They start by measuring your feet. Place one foot and then the next in their high tec machine and it measures the length and width to assure you are fitted properly. Pick your style and the sales associate will bring the shoes out, place and tie them on your feet, properly check the fit and let you walk around to try them. I tried on several pair before deciding and it was absolutely no problem. I am very happy with my new shoes and I highly recommend this place to all my friends.
