Hands down the best tanning salon in Tallahassee. Mrs Lynn, the owner, is super friendly and helped pick out the best tanning lotion for me. Usually places just want you to buy one of the most expensive ones. She also gave me a tour and showed me how everything works without me asking. She genuinely wants you to have the optimum tanning experience. The fact that there is no contract or membership fee is a plus too! I highly recommend Tan Shadows.

I am Honduran and I never once imagined using a tanning bed to keep up my natural tan complexion. The minute I walked in the girls made me feel so welcomed and guided me through their different packages they offered. Living in Tallahassee makes it quite hard to keep up with appearances. At home in Miami, I have my perfect little tanning salon. They know me and are oh so friendly.
Coming up to school, it is always difficult to keep tan, especially in the winters up here. So one day I drove all over Tallahassee looking for the best tanning salon. and look what I found!
This place is about a mile from my house. They are incredibly friendly, and genuine. This isnt very normal since all the employees at these places are young, female, college students…
The salon is VERY clean and they have numerous beds. There is one stand up which is a super bed, about 6 lower level beds, and 3 super beds. They also do the versa spa spray tans.
Their prices are reasonable. They have gone up a little but that was due to the tax put on tanning. They just decided to add it in.
Since I go on such a regular basis now, they know my name, know which bed I like, know where my bag of lotion is. Oh how nice it is! I have never had a bad experience here. They are always putting out coupons and specials and even members can use them!
One word of advice, plan for when you go. Tallahassee is a small town with a lot of girls who like to tan especially around key times like before SPRING BREAK HEYYYYYYYYYY.
It is best to go right when they open or mid-​day. They get busy in the afternoons when people are out of class and there is sometimes a wait.

My daughter wanted to tan and she has a package at this salon. There are many tanning salons in this city but most are either way overpriced or really old ancient beds. Or better yet the service is rude! Not this place, we walked in and two very lovely young ladies were working and they were so helpful and friendly. Very impressed with their knowledge and the cleanliness of the salon, I opted to do a quick tan to try out their beds.
I did the level four bed, twelve minutes and it was very good. Spritzers, facial tanners, nice fans built in, stereo where you can plug your i-​phone in. They have four different level beds with different pricing for each. The pricing is not bad for their packages. Salon is spotless clean, which is a huge bonus for me. They have lotions for purchase and their prices were not bad at all. Good selection of many different types to choose from.
This is the place to go when you need to get a nice bronzed body. The service does not get much better than this. Sweet, attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly service. Ladies great job, now this is what Customer Service should be. See you on my next visit.
