This location is located further away from the main area and is always a trek when I have to stay here. However, it is also quiet and quaint. Parking is always limited during the afternoons and evenings. Service is friendly especially at the social(breakfast and social evenings). Breakfast and Happy Hour foods are decent but after starting a few days, the food start to repeat. Most of the time the rooms and set up are okay. Once they had me upgraded to a 2 bedroom quite and that room was very nice and had a fireplace included.

Great little spot to stay in if you’re ever in the area. One of the most awesome perks I experienced when I was there; evening social with free hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, and… yes, beer!!! Sign me up, every time! Parking was easy and convenient, didn’t have any issues there. Staff super friendly — the service member that checked me in, I think her name was Selyne, was super friendly and courteous. She checked my colleagues and I in quickly, and provided us with some great options for a bite to eat when one of my colleagues asked for recommendations. She also informed me that we had access to the Gold’s Gym down the street, which was an awesome alternative for the small fitness center, which I got to take advantage of. Speaking of the fitness center, which I already mentioned was quite small; there is also an indoor pool, but the pool is kinda small too, so it’s definitely not a lap pool, he he. Fun for the kiddies tho if you’re with family and it’s too hot outside :) Room was a suite; so the bedroom was separated from the living room/kitchen. There is a stove, fridge and microwave, so if you have leftovers or if you bring food, it’s easy to store and heat something up quick if you want a snack. TV in the living room and the bedroom, so that’s convenient. Only issue for me was I wish the shower pressure was a little bit stronger, but that’s more a preference thing than an actual issue. Cost I think is typical for the area, so nothing new there either. FYI — It’s pet friendly hotel so just know that. My neighbor had two dogs and I could hear them barking as I approached my room but once inside, I couldn’t really hear them, but I might have lucked out that our suites were opposite facing even tho it was the next one over

Staff is fantastic, extremely nice and make it a point to get to know you. Very clean, well kept. Has a full kitchen and fridge, plenty of space and a reasonably comfortable bed. If you prefer ultra plush soft mattresses it may be a bit firm but I happen to prefer more support. Breakfast was simple but free and as good as any hotel breakfast ever is. Also appreciated that it was ready exactly on time as we had a tight schedule to keep.

Nice. Clean. Kitchen had plates and silverware. I prefer a super cushy bed so it was a bit hard for me but other than that we would stay here again. Pet friendly with quiet spots to walk the dog.

I haven’t stayed here in about 5 years but I would recommend it to anyone needing to stay in the Killearn area. Top choice for Marriott enthusiasts.

Recently remodeled(at least from the last time I stayed there) and it looks great. Flat panel TV’s, nearly nightly free events for guests, and a very friendly staff. So why only one star? I travel 8 months out of the year(almost exclusively at Marriott) and unfortunately I sometimes have to bring my killer attack dog along with me. An 8lbs, 9yrs old Miniature Schnauzer(house broken, non barking, and doesn’t even shed). Normally, I am charged either a pet fee or a pet deposit the 1st time that I stay at a location and I’m perfectly fine with that. Once they see that my companion is a very clean & quiet guest, the hotels I’ve stayed at don’t charge me an additional fee(they hold the deposit or keep the 1st fee). Heck, I could probably get references for Oscar I travel so much… lol. This morning I settled my tab, seeing and agreeing with the $ 100 pet fee for my two nights stay there this week. I figure it’s probably a onetime fee or a deposit. When I asked about this, I was informed that each time I stay here with Oscar I will be charged $ 100. I explained that I will be traveling here every week for the next 5 months(staying 3 – 4 nights each trip). The very friendly front desk girl asked the manager, who did not bother to come out to speak with me, and confirmed that it’s a $ 100 pet fee for each stay. Since I have to check out each week to go elsewhere in my territory, this would mean I would pay $ 100 each week for the next 5 months or in other words $ 2,000 by the end of my time here this year. It’s a shame because I really like the location, the rooms, and the staff. If it’s just you and other humans, then I recommend this place. If you are traveling with pets, obviously I don’t recommend. If you have well behaved pets, I recommend the TownPlace Suites or the Residence Inn on Gaines St. I called them both this morning and within 3 minutes of explaining my situation one offered to completely waive the pet fee and the other offered to only charge it once, both with the understanding that if something did go wrong and Oscar threw a keg party while I was at work and damaged anything that I would be expected to pay for repairs and cleaning. Guess one of these other properties will get my $ 129 per night for the next 5 months… or roughly $ 8,000!

Manager makes it a point to know her guests. The front desk staff is great: very professional and friendly. Rooms are modern, updated and clean. Breakfast buffet is weak – paucity of food, poor selection, few healthy protein options and level of cleanliness is not on par with rest of the property.

Clean, well kept hotel. Very quiet although it is right next to I-10 but we didn’t notice the traffic. The breakfast started a little late, 7:00 a.m. on Sunday and they were running low on food at times but worked to keep up with the demand.
