Based upon customer service alone, I’d give Red Hots five REDHOT stars.(That was incredibly tacky and for that I apologize, but I digress.) I had purchased a Groupon for the Deluxe Spa Pedicure for $ 21(typically $ 55). Last Sunday night, dumb little me realized the Groupon expired the next day. Just my luck, the salon isn’t open on Mondays. I messaged the salon owner, Joscelyn, and she allowed me to redeem my Groupon past its expiration date so long as I called and made an appointment. It speaks volumes when businesses are willing to accommodate you despite your mistakes. My appointment was Wednesday at 10am and once again dumb little me woke up 10 minutes prior. I showed up 10 minutes late. The young lady at the front desk(didn’t catch her name) and Paula(the lady who did my pedicure) were incredibly nice and didn’t seem to mind my tardiness. The pedicure itself was great. I just wish it was longer!(Granted, it was 10 minutes shorter since I was late.) I even forgot to turn on the massage chair because I got so caught up in conversation. I highly recommend Paula!

I had the relaxation massage with valore and it was excellent. She found my trouble spots without me even pointing them out. She’s very personal and professional. I have no complaints other than time passed by too fast.

I got a groupon for a pedicure, one that promised champagne and strawberries. I arrived a few minutes early than my appointment. The doors were locked, no one was at the reception. Eventually someone returned from lunch I can only assume and let me in. The pedicure was appalling. No champagne. No strawberries not even a Pinot. I got tea. Uuugh. It took an hour and a half and she didn’t even trim my toenails or get the calluses off of my feet or deal with my cuticles at all. No massage from the attendant and the massage chair was so busted it was bad. Really bad. Then I can’t even tell you how bad the nail Polish looked once she was done. She did no top coat, there are no pedicure drying stations. This place left me feeling bad and a little mad. I think one should only get groupons for places they have already been to. Heads up, it’s the same price for a walk in pedicure so you don’t even need it. And there has got to be a better pedicure in town. I now have to go find another. Waste of time and money.

I went with a Groupon last year and signed up for the monthly massages with Valerie. She was fantastic. She works on whatever area you desire — just tell her. I have had many massages by Valerie and she is great. Sorry to see these bad reviews — I think if I saw it before hand I wouldn’t have gone. But I know personally that this Salon is great! I also have had many facials there. I usually get Debi — she is fantastic!!! Just speak up and say what you want — they are happy to make you happy!

Just got a massage today with Valerie. I was surprised to see the reviews on here because I left thinking this was one of the best massages I’ve ever gotten. She must have gotten the message about talking, because that is definitely a pet peeve of mine while trying to relax, but she hardly said a word. I personally love the work on my back/shoulders, and not as much everywhere else, so it worked well for me. She didn’t ask if there was any area in particular I wanted to have worked specifically, though, so I guess I lucked out. She used mostly long, slow strokes, which I find most relaxing and relieving. I will be scheduling another appointment with her!

It is so hard for me to write this review simply because the person I’m writing about is so young and obviously needs a job. However, I can not in good conscience allow others to read reviews about an excellent massage when that person from 2013 clearly does not work at this salon any longer. Based on one good review my wife purchased a Groupon for a massage at Red Hots. I called to schedule an appointment and received a message saying to schedule appointments via their website. Went to the website and there were many open times available that day so I selected one, but I went ahead and called the salon anyway before driving all the way across town. Turns out the masseuse had gone home for the day, even though it was only 1:00 in the afternoon. Glad I didn’t go. Called the next day and scheduled an appointment. When I arrive the masseuse, Valerie, took me back to the room and told me to get undressed but to leave on my underwear. Really? Ok whatever. Valerie is a talker. Not just a little talking. The girl never takes a breath. She has ideas about everything on the planet and lets you know how good they are. I don’t mind a little chatter, but a massage to me means relaxing, and this wasn’t close to relaxing. Still… she’s very young so I passed it off to inexperience. If that had been the end of the problems then I would have been happy. The biggest issue is that she is not a masseuse. She pinches rather than massages. She uses a lotion that quickly vanishes and is not replenished, so she is tugging and pinching on your skin the entire time. Speaking of time… 99% of her time was spent on my shoulders, right where I told her I didn’t like to be massaged. Her idea of a deep massage was a really hard pinch and squeeze over and over and over again to the same exact area while telling me that I really needed a haircut and that I could get one while I was there, despite the fact that I had just had a hair cut less than a week ago. Valerie did finally move down to spend a grand total of 2 minutes on my lower back, where I had requested most of the work be done, and I had to laugh at the 30 seconds she«massaged» my rear end. What masseuse is afraid of someone’s back side? Her pinches were highly ineffective seeing she was trying to do them through a thick blanket/sheet covering and a client that was told to remain clothed. Valerie did share that they are seeing a bunch of Groupon customers, but that none of them ever come back. Hmmmmm. I wonder if we could ever figure out why? Seriously on a scale of 1 — 10, this massage was a 1 at best. Again it kills me to write this, but there is no worse feeling then taking time out of your schedule, and money out of your account, to do something that is supposed to be such a treat, and to have it be so awful. My wife felt horrible that this was her Christmas present to me, and it was so bad. I can’t tell you how they are for other services, but I can tell you that you should skip the massage here. Even at Groupon rates it’s not worth going, and that’s being kind.

Had a groupon for a 55 minute massage AND foot reflexology. Made the appt and was told it was with Valerie. Arrived and no one at front desk — after a few minutes someone came out. Valerie was called and took me back. Room is small, but clean. Valerie was a talker and needs to be a little more circumspect in her conversation. I did not need to hear about her personal life. I requested my neck be worked as it was stiff and said I was excited about the reflexology. Valerie said that the other massage therapist was the one who did that and she never referred to it again! So I did not get my reflexology. No sorry or come another time or we should have told you– nothing. Also, because my neck was very stiff, Valerie asked if I wanted her to work only on it or not. I said no, I wanted a full massage, but she did spend a long time on my neck and a very short time elsewhere. She was not particularly gentle and it was very uncomfortable. I have massages a lot a there are finesse things that can help instead of just pinching. I have used a groupon here for nail services and was very happy, but I will not have a massage here again especially with Valerie.

Most relaxing facial I’ve ever had! And that’s a lot coming from me. I’m very skeptical about facials/massages because I’m very ticklish but this was by far the best facial I’ve gotten. I got the 1 hour cleansing facial groupon as a gift and expected a half done job but the girl(didn’t ask for her name, sorry!) was excellent! Didn’t give it 5 stars because I haven’t tried their other services, but once I do it will be fixed. Thank you Red Hots Salon!

Red Hots is my go-to place for massage. They have great people there and I always enjoy talking with the staff! I always ask for a deep massage since by the time I go, I generally have an ache or some stress. Never fails, I always come out feeling alot better. I have also gotten highlights in my hair there and it straightened a few times there as well. Good people, appropriately priced for the quality and service you get.

Purchased massage from Groupon and wish I had money back. Never had visited salon prior to this. Massage was scheduled for 6:00 and i got there about 7 mins till. No receptionist to greet me. Walked in and did not know where to go, what to do. Ask another customer«was this the correct place etc.» She said I think so. Waited about 10 after before I saw anyone. Finally therapist came out and we walked to the private room. Massage started out with me on my back, she worked most areas fine, nothing exceptional. I flipped over and she worked my neck and back for a few mins then, that was it! I sat up and the clock showed 6:45. I guess because I purchased a ½ price groupon, I got ½ the massage. I reported to Groupon and at least they refunded some of the $. I have had several massages and this was by far, the worst experience with a massage!!! Didn’t know it was possible. Would never refer anyone to this salon. Buyers beware!!!

Just came here for a massage with a Groupon my mom gave me. The salon is nice and clean, no noxious smells at 2 in the afternoon. The layout is a little, um, different, which some people may like. It’s not all open and airy like most beauty salons — more like a little house that has been converted(even though it is in a sprawling office complex.) Everything seems compartmentalized, and you must travel through winding halways to get to your destination. And the massage room was very, very small. My masseuse — Stacy was her name, I believe — had a lovely, quiet, and relaxed demeanor. She looks very young(like, 14) but holds a stillness and peace about her that speaks of more maturity. I did not feel the need to fill the silence with mindless prattle or small talk. And neither did she. So nice. And she gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had.(Stacy herself gets 5 stars, I’d like to note here.) Now, if you like your massages slightly painful and enjoy making funny faces and holding your breath periodically — or struggling to take deep breaths to relax throughout — then my girl may not be for you. But for me, the pressure was just right, and she skillfully identified and released my tight spots without making me feel bruised and batterd. She seems to really know her anatomy and is very good at «reading» your body. No words were needed between us here, really.(She did, of course, ask once in the beginning if the pressure was right, and I assured her it was perfect.) The music was unobtrusive, the décor was non distracting, and there were no obvious odorous vapors. In short, the whole experience was relaxing and Stacy was amazing.
