Parlay Sports Bar and Grill

Simply… I’ve visited twice. Chris is non welcoming… Rude… just ready to push patron’s out. Not sure what his position is but walks around like your are Blessed to be there at his bar.

On a recent trip to Tally a friend took us in for a beer and bite before meeting friends at an event.
The layout is a little odd, with what seemed to be three different areas to drink/​eat/​sing but that didn’t effect my experience in the least. The one thing that did though was the time it took to get our meals. The beers and apps came out with a quickness but the sandwiches took a crazy long time to arrive. The service was good considering, just a slow kitchen I think. One huge plus to come out of that kitchen though were the jalapeño egg rolls. Those little treasures are amazing!
Worth a visit for sure, and trust me on the egg rolls!

Very nice place! Loved the stadium seating with very large and low projector screen. It was kinda empty for MNF but that was ok because I had the place to my self. BLT was really good and the fries were cooked to perfection. I’m a fried food junkie so this is important to me. My waitress (her name was Erin) was very friendly, attentive, and cute. Manager asked if everything was ok, which is a plus. Overall this place was great except that the TVs above the bar were too small. No big deal… just sayin

First visit. Good atmosphere. Great place to hang and watch the game. Loved the dart boards. Wings were good. Overall great menu for a sports bar. Would definitely go back.

This place is a step up from a sports bar. It has so many TV’s and a lot of cool stuff. They have darts, interactive tablets, and a large bar. This place is family-​friendly and good prices. The food was great, the wings are very good, and the fries are amazing. You could have parties here and get together’s. Parlay has a unique cuisine, from Pepperoni Rolls to burgers to sandwiches. I highly recommend this restaurant to all ages, from bar lovers to families.

Definitely an A+ for atmosphere and goodies (stadium booth seating, excessive TVs, outdoor patio, darts) but food was just decent, for me. I ordered a medium rare Churassco burger (hold the potato wedge) with avocado, chimichurri and a fried egg, but what I got was a 2.5oz kid-​sized burger, well done, with an ¹⁄₈ of a teaspoon of chimichurri and a well done fried egg. No runny yolk? What’s the point? Despite these disappointments, the taste of the burger was good, nice chargrilled flavor. Had all the other points been hit it would have been a very good burger.
The boys ordered wings and fries, and were very pleased with the medium and hot sauces. Lovely daughter ordered pepperoni rolls, while I mentally gagged. I envisioned something similar to bagel bites, but was most impressed with the seemingly prepared in-​house dish as it arrived to the table (see photo). She promptly scarfed it down.
I learned my lesson: ask detailed questions on the first visit and explicitly state how I’d like my burger and accompaniments prepared, as I’m sure they would have obliged. I was disappointed that they hadn’t already figured it out.
Service was friendly and attentive. Kids enjoyed the darts and you’ll practically have the place to yourself if you go on a Sunday (pre-​NFL) right as they open at noon.

This place is it. Small and quaint. Great seating and staff works hard. Prices are great and patio is spacious. I so hate large sports bars.

This locally owned bar & grill is a hidden gem! Located in the Midtown area of Tallahassee, it is convenient to all areas. They have unique cuisine, not your typical bar food — I love the chicken and pork tacos and Wisconsin Cheddar bites. They have a full bar, outdoor seating and Live Music on Saturday nights! A great local spot to casually hang out with the guys, family or even a date and enjoy the evening and nightlife!

Pretty cool bar. You can even order pizza next door at Dave’s Pizza Garage and eat it here Out door and indoor seating. Liquor and beer. Updated craft beers weekly.

This place was awesome! The layout is great with an inside bar, stadium seating for tables, darts, and a huge outside sitting area. Full liquor, and great food! The prices are «college prices», but the food is good food quality. Being from Miami, this place was great to hang while on a business trip. The staff was very friendly and makes you feel comfortable while hanging out. Not your typical «guy sports bar», great for business professionals men and women. Taco Tuesday special, 3 for $ 5 are Excellent! I even tried the teriyaki wings and another Excellent choice! Food is way above par for a sport bar kinda place and the ambiance is above par as well! You have to see for yourself!

This was the worst dining experience ever! I had the club sandwich and it tasted like it came out of a microwave. The potato salad looked like soup. I’m petty sure this place needs to be rescued by John Taffer… just sayin. I won’t be back.

Great beer selection and offers daily drink specials. Also a good place to watch a game with theatre style seating! Staff friendly enough, and decent bar food. Probably will come back.

Went there with a group of 7 and though there were plenty of seating choices we had to sit outside. The inside is mostly TVs on any and every sports channel; so it was hard to have a non-​sports conversation. Sitting outside was fine except when there were other guests smoking (we don’t). Service was good but the food won us over. I had a Burger with Chimichurri sauce and a fried egg, it was glorious. For an up-​charge you can deck-​out your burger any way you wish or opt for sweet potato fries or onion rings. The draft choices are quite expansive and they have craft beers too. The stocked-​out-​bar doesn’t cheap-​out when you order a drink either. — maybe its because they are relatively new and happen to be a slow night when we visited; but thank goodness you can still get a tasty burger and a decent drink somewhere in this town.

OK I’ve been to this restaurant on several occasions and it is great! This place serves awesome food and just happens to be TV heaven lol. Whenever you go try the Pepperoni rolls and the Jalapeño rolls.

Clean restaurant, lots of TV’s. Sandwiches and appetizers served.
