The Chicken Curry Banh Mi exceeded all expectations. The marinated chicken was filled with flavor and extremely juicy. But the role players were just as essential. Vietnamese pickles, cucumber, cilantro and jalepeno all melded together wonderfully. I believe a sweet chili lime sauce of sorts brought the whole thing home. All on a fresh Publix roll? Yeah, I’ll take a dozen to go!
I usually stop by MoBi when I visit Food Truck Thursdays, but for the price and the product I wish I went more often. These are the guys behind Taco Republik, so definitely try them out as well.
The Garnet n’ Gold Tacos are a home run, too. Service always a plus. The owner gave me a free water bottle since I didn’t want a soda. Not really much to complain about here. Honestly, I just need to visit MoBi more!

I found this truck when walking from end to end at Food Truck Thrusday in Tallahassee. This is a very small trailer and with two pretty good size boys inside. They have a small menu with some tacos but being a Gator fan I just couldn’t order a garnet n gold tacos. So I went with the cheese steak on a Publix hoagie roll. Theses guys were a little behind when I got there but they quickly recovered. My cheese steak was a little tough but aren’t they all thou. The seasonings were there but just missing something. I know heat, spice, fire, or to me flavor. I just require some heat some head sweating fire on your tongue and the back of your throat. In all it was good sandwich and I will return after I try a few other trucks.

I have ordered from them several times at Food Truck Thursday at Lake Ella and at First Friday at RRSq. The only downside is they don’t usually have many options, and they sometimes don’t even bother putting up a menu. But if something they are serving sounds good, get it! They have some delicious and creative concoctions.

Caught them on College and Adams the other day; you should make a point to check them out.
I tried their Bahn Mi. Considering the delicious selection of proteins and my indecisiveness, I got half Madras Chicken Curry and half Saigon Braised Beef. Suffice to say I would order both again. The Bahn is served in a roll specially baked from Publix and had some absolutely delicious veggies underneath.
I will definitely be back!

I loved the tacos!!! Wish I took a pic before I ate them but I was so hungry. We got the chips and dip also which were also good, but I think the tacos were the best. Def will go back.

The food here is of excellent quality, available at a great price, and the menu rotates weekly. The always-​available Carolina Gold BBQ Pork Tacos are extremely tasty and decadent. The price for two is $ 6, which is excellent. The other items are hit-​and-​miss: sometimes they are ungodly delicious and other times they are merely quite good. Every so often they have a relatively healthy choice, and I always consider those great days. The owner, Viet, is a nice guy who learns the names of his regulars and is always hooking it up with extra food or discounts. Service like this is why I try to eat at Mobi at least a few times a month.

I had MoBi for the first time last night and was blown away. My friends and I sat around in the back of a truck devouring their pulled pork with mac and cheese tacos and we all agreed that we would pay $ 20+ for a meal of this quality at any restaurant in town — you definitely get lots of bang for your buck. Two of my friends even went and bought sides of mac and cheese after trying mine. Additionally, the customer service was excellent and the guys working in the truck were super nice. I was very impressed and look forward to eating here again!

This little truck focuses on 3 or 4 items at a time. They range from traditional Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches to Korean inspired Bim Bi Bop wraps to mac and cheese and pulled pork tacos.
Always consistently good and innovative. Check these guys out!
