I had trouble finding a doctor in town who would take new patients in a realistic time frame and luckily came upon this place. I actually see Kay Dorian, who is a nurse practitioner and midwife, and she is fantastic! Very helpful and listens well. The wait time at the office is never too bad either. I only wish it wasn’t in the hospital (the office is in one of the suites at the top floor of TMH) because you have to pay for parking, the lot gets full fast, and I just don’t like walking through hospitals. It isn’t enough to deter me though, obviously. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough about this office! These ladies were wonderful. I arrived in town 35 weeks pregnant, needing an office that could help me prepare for my new arrival. I was able to get an appointment that week and every one I dealt with was wonderful, from the receptionist to the nurses to the midwives. I decided to use the midwifes instead of the OB due to my preference and am so happy I did. There are 3 midwifes and they will schedule an appointment with each midwife so you are familiar with each of them since it’s not known who will be on call when it’s time to deliver. Each of them were wonderful and so helpful. Carol took her time with me, answering any questions I had and gave me background information on their practice, on her history, and also on what I should expect and things to look out for. Jane was helpful, assisting me with various paperwork I needed. Sheridan was wonderful, very attentive and encouraging as I was nearly 42 weeks pregnant and set on a natural unmedicated birth.
My wait times at the office were rarely more than 15 minutes and I was usually in and out of the office within an hour. I had to have an NST done and the nurse was really great, very friendly and accommodating. I also had to have a BPP done twice and Lori, the ultrasound tech was fantastic.
I loved going in for my appointments, which is a great thing since I was going every week and sometimes twice a week. Their office was highly recommended to me by many people. I got my hair cut by a new stylist in town and it just so happened that she also had delivered her baby with Dr Forsthoefel and had nothing but wonderful things to say.
When it came time to deliver, Carol was on call and I just couldn’t have been happier with my experience and how she helped me. I wish I was still in the area so I could continue my care with their office. Having moved out of the area, I haven’t come across another office that provides as great care as I had with the midwives and assistants with this office. If you’re looking for OB/​GYN care, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with this office. You won’t regret it!
