Great find in Tally! Great coffee and unbelievable fresh made spinach cheese egg soufflé. Will be back!

Great café con leche, they allowed me to add how much sugar I wanted, which i was unsure of at first since i had never been given this option before, but is nice to allow customers to get the coffee they truly want. Wish they were open later on the weekends!

Great place for coffee… to go. This is a good spot to hit if you are in the neighborhood but don’t have time to hang out or need to get on your laptop. Because space is very tight and seating is limited. But really don’t try to come here to get work done, because a hipster girl will be rude to you to get you to leave. Counter space is limited to less than 8 people. They sell a lot of locally sourced or house made treats. The downside being that THEYMICROWAVEEVERYTHING that you’d want served hot. I’m not mad that they restrict you from the antique store as it’s mostly over priced junk and some occasional black face artifacts.

The coffee was indeed killer. However, the place is tiny with little seating and 0 privacy. Unless you want to have a conversation with the barista, this is not the place to go. I like the idea of a coffee/antique shop, but most of it is roped off for some unknown reason and highly overpriced. There was hardly enough room to stand and wait for your coffee, which is a little pricy as well. Overall it isn’t the most comfortable atmosphere, but if you’re getting coffee to go it’s fine.

My mom was in town and in an effort to try new places we stumbled upon Craig’s Killer Coffee – where we shared a muffin and threw away all but a few sips of each of our coffees. The service itself is absolutely horrible. Like I mentioned, this was our first time. When we entered, no one said a word to us, and we were standing right in front of the baristas. There was no one waiting in front of us, yet after ten minutes of standing their looking lost reading the menu, no one bothered to say a word. Finally, we had to ask them to please walk us through the board. All in all, if you’re looking to put some hair on your chest, you may enjoy the coffee. Even with half a cup of sugar it was entirely too strong. The muffin was good, though. Or at least better than the rest of the experience.

A work of art, love my iced mocha latte! Even though they were busy my order was not rushed and prepare to be amazed!

Amazing yums. Best pizza in town even though they only have one kind but they only NEED one kind because it’s delicious! The coffee and tea are lovely, everything is freshly made and they have superb dirty chais. Don’t expect the people to be nice to you. This isn’t the kind of place you go to to have someone act like you’re cool. Just go and enjoy everything you can put in your mouth and you will have nothing to complain about. Nobody needs to hold your hand and tell you you’re funny. You’re a grown-ass human being. Do you want deliciousness or someone to be your friend? Because where I’m at in life, I can laugh at my own jokes and still get to enjoy some fiiiiiiine baked goods, pizza and coffee. But that’s just me.

Cute place. Latte could have been a lot hotter. Not a lot of choices to eat. They had bagels(3 different kind of sesame bagels). Not sure I’d head there again when I am in town. The staff there was friendly.

The quaint, coffee bar attached to an antique store has been pumping out Grade A coffee for years. Long ago, before the antique store came to be, a cool video store occupied the space. I would grab a cup from Craig’s and search through old foreign and independent films without a care in the world. Nowadays, I have many cares and time is valuable. Fittingly so, Craig’s coffee is as reliable as your favorite t-shirt. When you’re in a rush, you can depend on Craig for a quick, yet robust brewed awakening. Situated on my route to work, it’s become my go-to spot when I’m seeking a snappy caffeine jolt. There are only seven seats at the cramped counter, I believe. And one of these days I’m going to sit my big butt on a barstool and experience the Craig’s vibe for myself. As Daniel P. mentioned in his review, this is something one has to be open to. Throw yourself into the fire and be apart of the conversation and the essence of Craig’s. You either get it or you don’t. But as far as coffee is concerned, the beans are unapologetically superb.

Two years ago, I gave Craig’s a mere four stars. It occurred to me that I was part of the problem in the overall rating being a mere 4.5 stars aggregated. I didn’t get Craig’s then — but at least I realize now that I didn’t get it then, which is not to profess any deep insights into«getting it» today, although I will extend the following: Everybody in the other side of that counter has a solid, yet understated knowledge of what the allure of Craig’s is. The allure? An unbeatable coffee. Whether drip or pressed, you will not get a better cup in town. That’s just a fact. What follows IS opinion — I don’t think you can say that factual statement when talking about other cafes in town. Why, because Craig’s WOULD be better! Muffins, popovers, scones, etc. are all present and good. What I think makes Craig’s truly great is a sense of communal belonging. I enjoy Craig’s best when I become part of the In-house«at the bar» tapestry and engage with the discussions at hand. Today’s, a lively chat concerning soil and aquifer integrity, kept a buoyancy that just isn’t found in other cafes. It brings to mind one in particular, at the edge of one of our downtown lakes. One would think it was a library given the prevailing silence! Anyway — come to Craig’s — be part of the scene, Man!

Most amazing latte I’ve ever had along with the veggie egg cup! Next door is the coolest antique shop with stuff from all over American. Don’t pass up this little hole in the wall it’s a hidden gem!

Some of the best coffee in Tally for sure. Very small space and sometimes slow, but always worth the wait. Best morning glory muffins that I’ve ever had. In fact, all of the pastries and food is delicious. The strata is awesome and could easily feed two.

Coffee is soooo good! They’re lattes are my favorite in Tallahassee. If hole in the wall coffee shops are your thing, give them a try. I only wish they were open later.

As a female who travels alone for work I like being able to walk someplace for good food and be safe. Then to have my walk end at Craig’s Killer Café with a fabulous cuppa and strata that was perfect is a real treat! My outdoor seat was not many feet from a busy street, but hey, it was comfortable and I had a lot of company. Did I mention that all this cost less than most fast food breakfasts?

SOGOOD! I was in town for a couple of days and a friend said we had to go check out Craig’s. I definitely did not picture Craig’s to be what it is, but I loved it. It’s a really small place, nestled inside an antique shop. However, the people in both the coffee shop and antique shop were great. Friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. I ordered an iced roasted almond mocha latte — it was awesome. I also tried my friend’s toasted marshmallow latte which was great as well. They have tons of options and the prices are very reasonable. I forgot the name of the coffee they brew, but from I am told it is a local company which is awesome. And I loved it — I wanted to buy some to take back. I’ll get it next time for sure!

Pretty small place and not very much seating if you want to sit inside. We ordered flavored ice coffee and they tasted like something you can get from dunkin donuts or McDonald’s but more expensive. It was just way too sweet– to the point where your spit get sticky and thick in your mouth. Maybe if I got their plain coffee I would feel differently.

I loved Craig’s when I lived in Tallahassee. I’d always stop in for a cup to go in the morning. Hands down, my favorite cup of coffee around. I still crave it, having moved away a year ago… I only sat in there and ate once, what with the small counter space and all. And even Craig, who was a little brash, was really a decent guy underneath the attitude. The other guy who always worked there made up for it, being polite and friendly.
