Brazils Waxing Center

I was completely satisfied with the service I received at Brazils Waxing Center FSU. Rachael was professional, courteous, highly competent, very experienced, and congenial. They use hard wax, which does not require strips, is less painful, and leaves no residue on your skin for the rest of the day. Additionally, the receptionist was helpful during check-​in and check-​out. Everything was fast and convenient. I highly recommend this business and their services.

If you want a great first time experience go to Karen at the fsu location. She’s so sweet, very gentle, and she’ll talk you through the whole thing. Also she’s hilarious so her making me laugh the whole time definitely distracted me from the pain.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I first booked my appointment with Rachel since I heard amazing things with her and when I got there they told me Rachel was not there but Amber was. Didn’t understand why Rachel wouldn’t be there when I booked it for her. The front desk lady was rude and said she’ll «show me the screen if I don’t believe her». But very hesitant about having Amber do them, the front desk lady assured me she was amazing and would not mess up my eyebrows up. Back home I pay 35 dollars for just eyebrow wax, so I am very picky and expect amazing work. Amber came in smelling like smoke, eager to get them done quick. She cut off the top of my eyebrows and then was very rude saying she didn’t and she’ll «go through the trash and show me the waxing strips» and then got up and left. The new front desk lady’s who just began their shift was super nice but at this point I was shit out of luck and no one could fix them. I’m gonna have to deal with them for a while for them to grow back. I will probably go back to see Rachel since I heard amazing reviews but all I can say is DO NOT GO TO AMBER.

Great staff, clean and always efficient. Awesome online scheduling system. I will only go to Brazil’s now for any type of waxing. The best.

Love Brazil’s! I only go to Rachael @ FSU because she’s the absolute best. She is super easy to talk to and makes sure you’re comfortable the whole time. Plus, she does an awesome job at all things wax. I get a ton of compliments on my eyebrows when she shapes them and I’ve never been more comfortable getting a Brazilian than when I have Rachael do it. I won’t go see anyone else in Tallahassee!

I’m not a novice with waxing, but it had been a few years since I last opened up to the experience. At Brazils, the establishment is clean and sterile, professional, and as gentle as possible. Rachael is my new favorite technician. Her knowledge and background create a foundation for ultimate care, both dermatological and educational. She takes a keen professional interest in your personal life so as to pinpoint how to properly manage your skin and sensitive areas. No matter your skin or hair type, Brazils technicians are trained to help you reach and maintain your desired look. It should also be noted that the bedside manner is one of comfort, yet the precision and speed is helpful for those needing to get back to work, school, or life. And what’s left to be said when the pricing is pain-​free? I have found me a home for waxing. Thank you, Brazils!

Incredible experience. Prior to Brazil’s I was truly nervous yet upon entering, my anxiety was immediately at ease. All of the girls were friendly and Teddie was very hands on at assuring my time spent there was as pleasurable as it could be. Thank you Brazil’s! I’ll sure to be back ASAP.

I’ve been getting waxed at various facilities since I was 12; blame my genes, but what else is a hairy little Jewish girl to do?! Before I became an esthetician myself, I started waxing my lip and brows and over the years progressed to underarms, Brazilian and half legs. In the last nearly 20 years of waxing I am yet to come across a wax as smooth and painless as at Brazils. Okay, let me be real… waxing isn’t painless… hair is literally being pulled from the root, so yes there is a slight sting. But! The clean environment, all natural products and friendly knowledgeable techs make the experience SEEM painless. I can’t recommend this facility highly enough.

First time waxing at this establishment and the worst. I had an under arm wax and within 4 days my hairs were growing back. In all the years I’ve been waxing, this has never happened to me. Will not be returning because it was a complete waste of money.
