Beware of the guy that sits in the middle chair. Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten in my entire life I can’t believe I paid for him to make my head look like a shaved poodle that was just butchered. Now I have to go home and spend an hour trying to fix this myself. Roland needs to fire that guy immediately

Roland’s is by far the best barber shop I have seen anywhere! Even after I moved further I make the trip to Takoma so I can get a top notch hair cut in an environment that is welcoming and professional but still keeping the old school way of barbershop’s! Price is reasonable ! They care about the community! You can go to super fancy barbers in DC and break the bank for an inferior hair cuts or you can go to Roland’s and pay less but get an outstanding haircut! Every time after I get a haircut at least a dozen people ask me where did I get it done! This is a testimony by itself how these guys take the time to make sure you have the right cut!
Love all the guys that work there but Raesi Mahray, the first dude by the door is my guy! What a talent! I know you will enjoy your trip to Roland’s the next time you want to get your haircut!

Gentlemen-​if you want your hair done right, without having to pay an arm and a leg, then Roland’s is the place for you. These guys have got it down from hand scissoring to hot towel shaves. The finest barbers in DC, and one of the best I’ve ever encountered in my many years.

This barber shop is top notch. Professional, top notch barbers, reasonably priced who make everyone feel welcome — both as a customer and a person. The shop is something of a neighborhood social center, and that makes every visit fun. Recommend the shop highly!

Just had a very good haircut here. Family owned and operated. Friendly shop and quality haircut with lots of attention to detail. I would come back and I recommend them!
