While boating the front window became loose. Instead of Turning around we were just careful with it. The boat seemed a little aged and not taken care of. The seats were starting mold, lots of dog hair so not so clean either. When returning to the boat launch, the manger became confrontational. In my book this is never ok!!! Will not return

We had another problem and they gave me some credits tags to launch boat in the future. Then, later, they said the credits expired and would not honor them. VERY BAD DEMEANOR, WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE

My group was going up to Tahoe for the 4th of July, and so we called Meeks Bay Marina to rent a boat. I confirmed the boat (gave all credit card information), and then I received a call just after 6 pm– the rental was scheduled to start at 10:30 am the next morning. The message informed me that they had double booked the boat so we no longer could have the rental, and that their office was closed so nobody would be able to pick up if I called back. The next morning I spoke with the manager, Ed, and all he said was sorry– it was a mistake, and the only thing he could potentially do to compensate us was to take $ 10 ($ 235 rather than $ 245) off a different boat that MAY be available around 2pm (there was a strong possibility that no boats would even be available at 2 though). I’m extremely disappointed with their service, and I would NEVER recommend this marina to others. My group is now left without a boat!
