Just did an overnighter at this campground. It’s urban camping! It’s close to everything. Walking distance to Safeway, restaurants and the pier. The campsites are pretty close to each other. It was also kinda noisy at night d/t the hwy being so close and sirens going off at night. At one point, I felt like I was camping at a rest stop. But some of my family liked that it was close to the grocery store and that the campsite was like«apartment style» b/c they were so close to each other. Overall not bad… Just know that it’s not very private.

Great for kids. Close to everything, especially if you have a bike. Not exactly«camping», but where else can you get a «room» with a lake view for under $ 40?

What more can be said about a campground that is located next door to McDonald’s and Safeway? Does this even count as camping? Would I ever personally camp here? No. Plus, this campground is right next to the pedestrian/bike path which adjoins Hwy 89, not very scenic or private if you ask me. It’s basically like camping in a parking lot. If your homeless I highly recommend this place or if your name is Alison, my peculiar friend who raves about this campground.
