OMG! I’m the first to review! This listing was here already and someone posted pics, but no review. We were headed to the marina to get on my cousin’s BF’s boat, and we decided to stop at this famous(infamous bridge). I’m sure there’s an official name for the bridge, not«Fanny Bridge», but that’s what most people call it. Ask any local and they’ll know what you mean. The reason for the name is the sight of all the fannys of people leaning over the edge to look down at the fish or whatever. Drive by and you’ll see. Sometimes there might be some cute ones, and sometimes not. It’s a really old bridge that overlooks the dam that hold back all the water in Lake Tahoe. Right now, with the drought, the flow isn’t very much as the lake level is just at the rim of the natural dam level. The built dam can hold back I think up to 6 feet of water. Over the whole lake Tahoe, that’s a ton of water! Anyhow, a fun little stop if you have time, look over, show you fanny and say you were there! Parking can be hard in the summer and watch out crossing the street!
