This resort has always done us well. They deal with large numbers of people in a very efficient manner the wait times are longest(usually 10 – 20 minutes) if you come at the most popular time(9:30−11:00 Saturdays) but if you come earlier or later it will be super fast. They always have the equipment you need and it doesn’t matter the group size they can always accommodate you. The lodging has all been updated and is the nicest you will find anywhere. We will never go anywhere else.

We planned a group float trip as part of our High School Class Reunion and they were very accommodating. You do need to understand that when you show up there is a wait(anywhere from 10 — 50 minutes) but if you get your group organized it goes so much quicker. It was a smooth process from getting our equipment and getting on the water. The river was so packed but we had a great time. I would highly recommend War Eagle to anyone looking to have a great affordable weekend getaway.

Went on a float trip today in a group of 16. When we arrived, we had to wait in line for about 20 minutes to register(it was a pretty long line and the process was relatively quick). There were snacks, water shoes and other convenient items available for sale in their store. There was also a barbeque shack. Once you pay you wait for your name to be called, grab your life jackets and paddle, then jump on a bus to be driven to your drop off point. We went on a 12-mile trip($ 24 per person). There is a rope available close to the beginning of that trip. If you want to swing off of a rope, you should pull over, because that’s the only one there(as of today). I’d give the place 5 stars if they had nicer bathrooms.
