Xtreme Clean Carpet Care

This company is a reputable company. I reviewed the wrong company and apparently this happens often to this poor business man. If you got bad service you probably dealt with «Xtreme Carpet Cleaning, Inc.». That is who my original review was supposed to be about.
Here is the review for the other company, Xtreme Carpet Cleaning: This company is all about the bait and switch. They are unethical and are out to rip you off. They don’t stand behind their work or their product. They publish coupons on Groupon and LivingSocial and then don’t honor the coupon. The technician was very rude and right off the bat said he refused to steam clean my carpets for the $ 229 contracted price and demanded that I pay $ 500 cash instead. He said my carpets needed a «deep cleaning» and that a steam cleaning wouldn’t be enough. When I refused to pay more he said he was going to leave. I was showing my house the next day so I was stuck and I insisted that he steam clean them (without doing «deep cleaning»). He proceeded to give a cursory swipe of each room and finished my whole house in about 20 minutes. Faster than I can even vacuum. I refused to pay cash, using my credit card so that I would have recourse for the extremely unprofessional treatment and because I felt that I didn’t even receive the basic steam cleaning. The carpets looked no different after the technician left and when I got out my own steam cleaner and tested an area the tank of water came away filthy. Since the fine print on the work order that I signed says that I was satisfied with the job even if the carpets remained dirty I ended up with no recourse from my credit card company. (Lesson learned about signing work orders). I tried to reach the company to complain but after listening to me and saying they would call back they then no longer answered when I called or returned the call. The credit card company did call Xtreme Carpet while I was on the line with them and the owner (Renee) basically said it was too bad and that he refused to lose money and I was out of luck because I signed the paper. And he wouldn’t even tell us his last name!
Also be aware that Steamers contracts out their work to Xtreme Carpet Cleaning and they are just as unscrupulous.

I have to admit I was skeptical about the stains in my carpet coming out, but this man did it. I have a cat that will eat anything not nailed down, and not necessarily food, then throw it back up. I had nasty cat vomit stains in a few places and he assured me it would come out. My carpet looks new again. Would definitely recommend him to others. He arrived on time, was very professional, and was done faster than I thought he would be.
