This store is in a little village area. not sure what you call this district. You walk into the shop and its smaller than most locations. I’d say some of the malls stores might be bigger, but there’s plenty of seating surprisingly. just no comfy chairs for relaxing. On a warm day you can sit outside at a table if one is free. Great location although you either park streetside 2 hours limit or down along Ruston in one of the free lots and walk up. Your typical products here, so you know what to expect. You have the friendly staff to greet you. always smiling. Buy a drink and a food item to take on a stroll down by the water.

Great staff. Big store plenty of seats but last couple of times their wireless had been on the fritz. So you need a hotspot or try for a window seat to pick up the Spar wireless across the street

By far my favorite Starbucks in the south sound. Kara knows how to hire — her tea Is fantastic! If you take home coffee, take home the Komodo Dragon. delicious!!!

If I had my choice, I would much rather support a local smaller establishment that has not become such a huge corporate coffee shop that will soon take over the world(and has better coffee). I have a difficult time calling Starbucks«good coffee» when everything is managed by a machine, specific numbers, and hitting buttons. There is no room for individuality or uniqueness In your coffee, and most of their drinks have so much milk and flavoring in it that you don’t even get the coffee flavor. However, I find myself at a Starbucks much more than I would like, so clearly I don’t hate it. I love the convenience of knowing if I need coffee, there is likely a Starbucks right around the corner(or close to it). For the most part, the baristas are always very friendly and accommodating– which you don’t always get at more swanky, hipster, coffee snob shops– so that part is nice. I also like the variety of different food and snacks, and that they have a pretty good selection of «healthier option» choices. If I need a simple cup of black drip coffee and a breakfast sandwich, I have no complaints.

Cute location but super busy and crowded for a Sunday afternoon but I am thinking that they are getting the overflow since the Tully’s around the corner is no longer there… hence the reason I came here since I was not knowing that the Tully’s was no more. My drink is pretty simple, grande iced americano with room. My daughter ordered the orange mango smoothie and it had no flavor:(

I love this location. The only downside is that they aren’t open late. The inside is roomy and open, the baristas are just the right amount of friendly, and there are lots of comfy chairs. If most locations have a fault, it’s a lack of comfy chairs. This one has an excellent area in front by the windows, and a cozy area in the back that is quiet and isolated. When I want to just sit with a cup of coffee and read, this in one of the locations I choose.

I frequent two locations. This one has been my regular spot for my Friday coffee group for the past 4 years.

Thus would be a 5 star, but they close sooo early, even on weekends. We love the proximity to our house and to the 705. It has two almost separate rooms for sitting with enough cushy chairs. The whole front is windows, which is nice to sit and watch the few people walking around N 30th and/or the waterfront. Few outdoor seats for when the weather’s nice. The baristas are hit or miss. One carries on full conversations in a voice that makes me wish for nails on a chalkboard. Another remembered my custom drink after one trip, but it was easy to switch when I wanted a different order(which I sadly can’t say for all Starbucks, even though I do not have a «regular» drink). Street parking or a small lot. The boy’s impression is we’d go more if they were open later.

Located in Old Tacoma. Easy access to Ruston way. I took my coffee down the street to Gateway Park for a lovely view of the bay. The employees were friendly and chatty. No drive-through. I didn’t check out the bathrooms, but I did get my free refill using my rewards card.

This is the friendliest Starbucks I’ve ever patronized. There is a parking lot in the alley behind it if you can’t find parking on the street. Closes early(7pm).
