Natural Nails

I went in because I have yet to find a good nail place around the area. My manicurist was too busy taking calls and talking to another employee to focus on what I asked for.

Have been going here for awhile… I just realized I needed to stop! I used to get my nails done by kelly all the time. She’s so sweet. Does a great job with Painting and nail art all the time. Always very friendly and welcoming. And knows your name which makes me feel good. But I am big into cleanliness. I am pretty sure I got toe nail fungus following a pedicure I received there. And the last time I got a manicure, the bowls you soak your fingers in had build up of other people’s deal skin in there. That’s when I realized I needed to stop.
Also I have noticed the pedi’s I received gets shorter an shorter. It’s always a quick in and out when I’m there (20 minutes) for a pedicure.
Makes me sad I had to quit going there because I love how kelly does my nails, but I would rather go somewhere that’s clean and takes their time for the the price im paying AND tipping them.
I am a cosmetologist and know the state sanitation standards.

My best friend and I were visiting my grandma before my destination wedding in Washington and needed to get our nails done before we left the city. We googled some stuff and looked around for an all around good service and eventually found natural nails. When we walked in we were greeted very kindly and didn’t have to wait long for service. The owner, kelly, did my acrylics. She spoke to me in english and was very nice and confirmed everything I wanted before starting. She did an amazing job on my nails and since im the bride I really extra appreciated it. The atmosphere is relaxing and the chairs are very clean and confortable. I highly recommend this salon and kellys services.

I would give this business 0 stars if possible! My friend and I went to get a full set and a pedi after a friend recommended this place. Not only was the pricing weird (listing 4 prices for a full set basing it on length but not being able to answer which length was which price) but these were the worst services ever! Our nails are uneven, dirty looking, misshapen, extremely thick, crooked, sticking up at weird angles and just plain ugly. We will both have to wait for our nails to grow out then remove them. We each paid $ 50 plus bucks for a basic nail and pedi which may not be much but neither were right.
After the pedi they made us walk across the dirty floor barefoot to our nail seats Even though we both had sandals. We were asked to pick a color. Water temperature wasn’t right or adjusted. The massage chair had a broken control so I couldn’t turn it back on. Dirty tools were used. Upcharging. Hot towel was burninv hot and no massage.
English comprehension was lacking. They weren’t interested in helping to fix their errors. Or maybe I should say they were but the issues were unfixable.

I was really hesitant to write a review because that would mean more people would know about this place… lol. I’ve been going to this nail shop for over 15 years. I have gone to other and I just keep coming back because they are the best shop in Tacoma in my book. They are nice, speak and understand English very well. Have really cool nail hand painted art and they also do air brush too. They are very reasonably priced.
They just remodeled they got a whole wall full new pedicure chairs even 2 for kids! New tables and drying station… pretty sweet. I have learned to call ahead for a appointment with Kelly… shes the owner. That way you get in and out quicker.

I started going to this place when I first started attending PLU and haven’t really been able to replace it. My original logic is that if I want long, fake, stripper nails then I should go someplace that is used to doing long, fake stripper nails. I’m not certain that there are any nail shops closer to a strip joint than this.
The prices are about average and most of the girls who work here are pretty cute. For best service, always go for the owner who sits right up front on the left hand side of the shop by herself. She works every day except Sunday and always seems to be there.
They have been doing remodeling for the last few months so the décor leaves a bit to be desired but when it’s finished they will have a private waxing room and be able to have a larger waxing menu than the very limited offerings they have now.
