This McDonald’s doesn’t have hashbrowns, and didn’t clarify that so I got a sausage McMuffin with French fries. Also, they still ask if you want a «girl or boy» toy, so we almost missed out on the sweet Pokemon toy for our daughter. McDonald’s isn’t necessarily a beacon of quality, but I’m disappointed in this one especially.

I go through the drive in and it’s always been a positive experience for fast food, accuracy and nice people.

I don’t have incredibly high expectations with McDonalds visits but my recent experience at this one warrants a review. First let me say that this is probably the most expensive McDonalds in Tacoma. After this experience, I am even more puzzled why that is the case considering the service being so crappy. I came through the drive through and ordered a filet of fish meal. I waited for about 6 minutes in line for my food. I was annoyed but I justified the wait by thinking that it was because of them cooking fries. So I was sure I’d get fresh hot fries. Not the case at all. I got about a half of a block away from my home and tasted the fries and they tasted as though they were cooked the day before yesterday. Annoyed, I turned around and went back through the drive through and asked for my money back and handed them the food. The manager asked why and I told him it was because the fries were at least 2 days old. He closed the window and said, «Well do you have your receipt?’ I said, «It was minutes ago but yes I do». I handed him the receipt and he closes the window again. Then he just hands the money to me. No apology no eye contact no nothing. The manager looked like he just graduated high school so I guess I can’t expect much but it was still disappointing.
