Katie Hair & Nail Beauty Salon

I used to go to this salon to have my hair cut for a year or so, I planned with Katie to have my hair done for my senior prom. She continually showed her pictures of what I wanted exactly & when prom day came she told me she didn’t even know how to do my hair that way! She totally screwed up. I could’ve done a better job myself. The employees are extremely rude, when I got my nails fixed there they told me that my nails were ugly and we’re obviously talking about me in Vietnamese to each other the entire time. Once I got my hair shampooed their and they completely drenched my entire upper body and told me that it was my fault I got wet? The hair dryer burned and was up way to high. I will never be returning.

I’ve gotten my eyebrows waxed there for years. Katie does an awesome job & I get compliments from people how perfect they are! I always get very fast service.

Looked forward in using the gift certificate I received from my sisters and in getting a much needed mani&pedi with that said. (If I could give a NEGATIVE in stars I would!)
WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had at any nail salon. WORST!!!
How do I start. I arrived at the salon a quarter to 11 a. m and was told that it would be an hour and half wait yet they had only 1 customer a gentleman they were tending to but there were 3 ladies there ranging in age from late 20’s to mid 40’s. Two of whom were servicing the older gentleman and the 3^rd one just standing there. Okay fine I stated that I would return at quarter after noon and was told that it wouldn’t be a guarantee to be seen but I could try to come back???

ANYWAYS…FAST FORWARD an hour and a half later. I return and get seated.
I was a little sketchy at first but decided to give it a try.
WRONG! The water was lukewarm and the equipment I began to suspect wasn’t exactly sanitized etc.
The younger one out of the three did my manicure.
She was rough in handling my nails and nicked my cuticle which bled she applied some liquid that stung and continued on with no apology while doing my nails and had a problem when I asked if she could move as she did my nails rather than me reach across myself while she did my manicure.
She rushed the nail job and paid more attention to watching the soap opera on the t. v at the time which might explain how she nicked my finger in the first place. Her massage was half hearted and the attempt at any decent manicure was out the window in my eyes after that.
She sloppily finished the job AFTER I asked if she was done realizing she hadn’t applied the clear coat finish. She disappeared in the back and never saw her again after that.
As I was getting the manicure the older lady of the three did my pedicure which was halfway decent. At least I can say she put a little more effort than the younger female but it was nothing to praise about.
They were more concerned with the Young and the Restless on the t. v which was oddly placed behind the pedicure chairs rather than within view of customers than they were about customer service. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND this place NOR WILL I EVER step foot back in this place.
It didn’t help when I shared this tid-​bit of an experience with a friend and she said «That’s one of the places that got fined and listed as one of the worst places in the NW to get a pedicure because they fail to meet health codes due to unsanitary equipment!!!» What the hell.Great.just great. So yeah. AVOID this place at all cost. Go somewhere else. for your sanity and for your health. Btw. I shared this with my sisters that gave me the gift certificate they were shocked and won’t be going there as well.

Went here to get my ladies nails done. They didn’t do anything my girlfriend wanted. They also were highly unsanitary the files and drill tips they used were not clean and had obviously been used to do someone else’s nails!!! Can you say gross! My girlfriend told them four times or more that she wanted square tips and they continued to make them rounded. They also made get nails extremely thin which she told them continuously as well. On top of all of this everytime she said anything to them they would talk back and forth to each other in another language. This is by far the worst nail place ever!!! Do NOT go here to get your nails done our really any service GROSS! RUDE! UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

I didn’t have an appointment, but they quickly sat me down for my pedicure. I was very pleased with how fast I was seated and the prices are very reasonable. My only complaints would be the lack of English my lady spoke and the water wasn’t warm enough for me. Other than that, I was very satisfied with my pedicure and how well the lady did.
