Kathy L says everything I would say… GREAT location and space. Whoever decorated it has a real eye. Well-​chosen, obviously quality lighting and furniture, with gorgeous artwork, great music, and really good coffee, not to mention the stylists and owner are all super nice. Also like Kathy L, I come down to Frinj from Edmonds for Ashlyn! — yes, she’s that good. I saw her up in Shoreline for 8 years before Frinj and there was no way I wasn’t going to follow her south. No one does color like her, no one cuts like her, and she is all around just one of the greatest gals you could ever have a chance to know.
You do have to pay for parking on the street but it is cheap. Less than $ 2 for a couple hrs.

I went to Frinj for the first time last Saturday and loved it! Of course it helped that my #1 hair stylist Ashlyn was there! I don’t live in Tacoma, I live in North Seattle, but to go see Ashlyn I willingly drove down to Tacoma. The salon is funky and cute, with an industrial but artsy flair. Stylists rent out their seats, so the stylists you get are there totally by choice. The owner was very nice! There are a couple of cute little places to get something to eat or a cup of coffee right near by.
Great atmosphere, fantastic stylist!
