Down to Earth Dental

My partner had a broken molar that had been causing her an extreme amount of pain for the previous three days. Her regular dentist had made an «emergency appointment» for her to come in for a root canal — however when she arrived the dentist that was going to perform it had already left for the day. My partner came home in tears due to the frustration of the experience coupled with the pain of her exposed nerve. This was on December 30^th, 2015.
I called and spoke to Stacey at Down To Earth Dental at 6:30PM that evening. Stacey was patient, sympathetic, and listened to me as I ranted about my partner’s regular dentist and I expressed my frustration at not being able to get her the care that she needed. Stacey asked if she could call me back in 20 minutes…
10 minutes later my phone rang — it was Stacey. Dr. Prato was more than happy to stay late (the clinic closed at 8PM that night) and help out.
We arrived at 7:30PM and were quickly filling out paperwork. Shortly after 8PM we were called back and the clinic had emptied of patients and most of the staff had gone home.
Dr. Prato and Stacey went over the options for my partner’s broken tooth. You’d never have thought that it was after hours — they were patient and went over our options. Ultimately we decided that an extraction was the best course of action. Despite the procedure taking a few hours, after the clinic had closed, we NEVER WERE RUSHED.
Dr. Prato had the BEST bedside manner. He was genuine, caring, funny, and very easy to get along with. There was none of the attitude or arrogance that so often comes from doctors. Stacey was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and open. No kidding, by far the best dental team I’ve ever experienced.
Because of their amazing customer service, willingness to go above and beyond for us, and for being so genuine, they are now our family clinic. I wish that I could find a general practitioner that had the same level of compassion and service as the team at Down to Earth Dental.
