Oh my sweet hair heaven I have found my new absolute favorite hair salon! First let me start off by saying that my appt was screwy from the beginning because I guess the app that I booked it on was have a glitchy day. So I got a call from the owner herself who then quickly rescheduled me.
Ok, so the hair… girl. Its fire! I mean, Sirina is just crazy talented, gorgeous and super smart. She knew exactly what my hair needed to maintain the quality and health even AFTER a home bleaching session. She worked that magical olaplex in and knew exactly what I wanted and made it look even better than the picture I showed her! I highly recommend this place. And I absolutely adore my new fav stylist!

I just moved to WA in the beginning of the year from AK (if you’re wondering… we’re military).
I was in desperate need of a haircut because it started growing into a mullet — not a good look! I typically wait until I go home to my stylist in CA to get anything related to my hair done. As y’all know, it’s SO HARD finding a stylist you trust (I’ve been going to her for 10+ years). But I needed to do something with my hair because I was going out to celebrate my birthday that weekend — mama needed to look good, right?
Enter Kelly… He did an AMAZING job & listened to what I wanted done. When I called to make my appointment, I specifically asked for someone that knew how to cut short hair! He met my expectations & I will continue to go to him in the future!

I went to this salon for eyelash extensions because my regular gal was too booked up and after vacation my lashes were in need of a fill. Less than a couple days after getting them done, I started losing lashes everyday, so by the time the 1 week mark came up, they were all gone on my right eye. Didn’t call and complain, because I really didn’t want to have them done again here.

YESSSSS. Sydney was great. I am loving my haircut. I usually just get a trim and she added in some different layers and texturing and it is so soft and easy to style. She even gave me a bit of a lesson on how to curl it and I am attempting to learn :) I will definitely be back! I also love how easy it is to make appointments and see pricing online.

After a couple of not-​the-​best-​though-​I-​tried-​to-​be-​positive experiences with a stylist in Alabama, I knew that I just couldn’t keep getting my hair cut in the South. I didn’t feel like driving all the way to Seattle, so I looked for a salon a little more local to where I’m staying.
I made an appointment, several weeks out, for today since it’s one of my days off while I’m in town. I showed up at 0940, and the salon was closed. I might have started to panic a little because I was so looking forward to this morning and thought my hopes and dreams were dashed. However, my appointment wasn’t until 10, so I decided to just wait outside. My stylist, Sydney, showed up at about 0950, so crisis averted.
I didn’t look at the inside too much, just glanced around, but the interior is super cute and spacious. There’s a little coffee/​tea bar in the waiting area and what looks to be local artists’ jewelry for sale next to the reception counter.
It was just the two of us in there this morning, which was actually really nice, quiet, and relaxing. I showed Sydney a few pictures of the kind of look I wanted, and she made some suggestions on the length because though I wanted to go shorter, I still needed to be able to pull my hair back into a low bun (gotta keep that hair off the collar in uniform, you know). My hair was very long, and I must have gotten 4 – 5 inches chopped off. It’s now right about shoulder-​length, and it hasn’t been this short in many years. It looks and feels fantastic. She did a terrific job, and I absolutely love it.
Sydney is friendly, pleasant, easy to talk to, and extremely talented. I really enjoyed my experience here with her today. I’ll be timing my hair appointments with my travels back to the Seattle-​Tacoma area in the future. Dolce’s prices are reasonable, and its 5-​star average is definitely well-​deserved.

I don’t get my hair done very often but I’m so glad I found this place and Sydney! I absolutely love my hair! Will definitely recommend to everyone I know!

After fabulous Unilocal reviews I went to their website and checked out their stylists. All of them had 7+ years of experience which is a huge plus. I booked an appointment online to see Melinda which was super convenient. I was expecting the stylists to be booked out for a few weeks, but I was able to get an appointment within the week. The salon is very elegant and stylists were very friendly. Melinda was great about walking me through the different levels of balayage and making sure that I was happy with the results. Melinda did a great job and I love my hair! I highly recommend this salon, and will definitely be a repeat customer!

Horrible experience :/​wish I didn’t waste $ 300 for a balayage. The stylist didn’t even do a balayage at first. I asked her to fix my hair from a previous experience and she said my hair can defiantly be fixed. I asked her how much it will cost she mentioned 230 $ She recommended to start with all over foil I didn’t understand why and when I asked her the reason why she just said its better that way! Sat there closer to 4 hours cuz she kept going to the back for some reason. when she was drying my hair I freaked out! my hair was orange! Ugh! Why! She said its because I colored my hair from a box but it was years ago though and I had my hair colored a few times before coming to her. She said she’ll have to fix it by doing a balayage now. Another 3 hours :/​I was getting frustrated. When it was all over. my hair literally looked the same as of when I walked in. She just fixed her mistake! When it was time to pay she charged me another 70 $ for her mistake!!! Thanks!!! defiantly not recommending this place to any of my friends and family! Too pricy and not worth the time and money.

I recently had a cut and color with Sirina, the service was great and I have been compliments from absolutely everyone!

I had my first appointment with Sophia at Dolce a couple of years ago after doing a lot of Unilocal research, and I’ve been back several times. Sophia is a magician with my very long, very fine hair and my fairly particular requests. I’m one of those women who want to look my best but is resistant to major changes. Sophia manages to clean up my hair and make it look super healthy without sacrificing length, and time after time she nails my color with techniques that no one else has ever shown me. She’s a master at what she does, I won’t go anywhere else!

To all the blondes, do yourselves a favor and go see Maegan. She did an amazing job color correcting my hair from yellow blonde to platinum with highlights and balyage. So glad I found her, I couldn’t be happier with my hair.

Maegan is the BEST! I’ve seen her for the last few years, and every time I leave the salon, I love my hair and feel fabulous. I found Maegan when I was in desperate need of a color correction — I tried going from brunette to blonde and it failed miserably — and she rescued me from a brassy mess. Over the last few years, she has successfully helped me navigate growing my hair from a pixie cut to below-​the-​shoulders length, and at no point did I ever reach the «awkward» stage. I’ve gone back and forth between different shades of blonde and it always looks shiny and natural.
And to keep raving about her, she did my hair and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding, and everyone looked fabulous. For the bridesmaids, I was open to whatever look my friends wanted and that she felt would be most appropriate. Each girl had a different style that best fit their personality but still looked consistent with everyone else.
She’s the best!

I heard about Dolce salon through an acquaintance who had her wedding hair and makeup here. She was extremely pleased and suggested I see if they’re available for my upcoming wedding. I’m so glad that I did! My trial run turned out incredible! Sophie took her time trying to get the perfect look and she nailed it. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and did an amazing job. Krista looked through some pictures that I brought and worked from that to take my hair from «meh» to «WOW!!!» I sent pictures to my bridesmaids and they were amazed by all of it! Can’t wait to have Sophie and Krista get us all dolled up for the big day!
Krista also cut my hair a few weeks ago and did an excellent job! I love the cut and absolutely plan on going back to her in the future.

Sirina is skilled at cutting & color & is always so sweet & fun to talk to. She goes out of her way to meet every request I’ve had & helps advise & style my hair in the best way for my hair type. She not only gives me the cut & color I want today, but plans ahead for what it will look like in the long term as it grows out, how often I plan to return for trims or color re-​touch… She provides so much more thought & effort than the average hair stylist. She took my Asian hair blond for the first time & I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else. My hair is exactly what I wanted & healthy too!

Just moved to Washington and found this gem via Unilocal.Although the amount of reviews are lower than other salons near by they were all very positive and I’m glad I chose Dolce Salon & Spa. I set my appointment with Sydney.
Sydney was so helpful in helping me decide the best short haircut style for my face. I’m very pleased and definitely going back to her in the future.

I just had my hair done with Sydney and she did a fantastic job. She did exactly what I asked and I am happy with my new hair! My husband’s jaw practically dropped as I don’t always get my hair done and I get a hair cut like once a year.
I’d definitely come back and get my hair done more than once a year.

This review is long overdue. I have been seeing Sydney for approximately 7 years now, and followed her to Dolce from another salon. I started seeing her when I was still in high school, and throughout college I would wait to get my hair done until holiday breaks when I was home so Sydney could do my cut and color.
I have had every hair color under the sun, from almost black to fully blonde and Sydney has made every color look incredible. I am always in love with my look when I leave her chair! I am such a loyal Sydney fan that my mother, grandmother, and best friend are now her clients as well. We all have very different complexions and hair types, proving that Sydney’s work is as versatile as it is amazing.
Most recently, I decided (foolishly) to have someone else do my hair since I am now living up in North Seattle. I immediately regretted it, being that I left this other salon with a legitimate blonde patch on the side of my head. Yikes! I called Sydney in a panic, and she reassured me that she could squeeze me in on Christmas Eve morning to fix my hair before the holidays. Her amount of dedication and loyalty to her clients is outstanding. I walked out of my appointment with her on Christmas Eve morning once again loving my hair. I have already scheduled my next appointment with her, and am 100% confident that she is worth the 90 minute drive. No one else in Western Washington will be touching my hair ever again except her!
If you are looking for a stylist that is fun, sweet, loyal, outgoing and also incredibly talented, look no further. Sydney is your girl!

Like another reviewer, I found Maegan at a different salon and followed her to Dolce when she moved here a few years ago. Over the years, I’ve had long layers past my shoulders, a bob, an asymmetrical wavy bob, side bangs, straight bangs… Maegan has done it all with me! I now have the style that you see in my current photo — a long-​ish pixie. It took me a while to work up the courage to chop it that short, but I knew I was in good hands.
I don’t live in the Tacoma area right now, but I always come see Maegan when I’m in town. She is professional, friendly, and down-​to-​earth. Can’t wait for my next visit!

MAEGAN IS AMAZING!
I’m an asian girl with long hair with some balayage already in my hair, but it was still a mixture of dark brown and my natural black hair and I basically wanted to go blonde via balayage/​ombré. As I’m only here for the summer months, I wasn’t able to go to my usual hairdresser and we all know how difficult it can be to trust someone new with your hair! Especially when I’m going for such a drastic change.
It took three sessions and many hours but she did it and I LOVE it! She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and addressed my points until I was 100% happy with my hair. Very friendly and professional. :) She is also beautiful!
The salon itself smells like caramel all the time and they have air conditioning!
