Denny’s

Bad waitress we were a family like of ten and they put seperate tables they took more than 20 minutes to tell us «be right with you» so we ditched the restaurant this is the most shitty waitresses i have ever known and i hope they get fired

My husband and I visited this Denny’s today. There was a woman waitperson who talked very loud, used inappropriate language with her coworkers, and set us on edge. When her shift was finished, there was a noticeable silence and calm. We sighed at the quiet.
The restaurant was dirty with food and paper scattered on the floor. We asked for a different table because the seats were dirty. Later, in our visit, a waitperson put on a portable vacuum, like a backpack, (reminiscent from a Ghostbusters movie) and cleaned the floor. It was noisy but tolerable.
Our waitperson was nice and attentive. I am gluten/​wheat free and was disappointed their fries were not, although the menu stated otherwise. The burgers tasted good but they were greasy and upset my stomach later on. My husband was fine. The cook must not be aware that he must clean the grill before cooking gluten/​wheat free food or the customer will be contaminated. I have been to other restaurants where I had no ill-​effects, whatsoever. My muscles became painfully inflamed.
We will not be visiting this particular Denny’s again soon. We did enjoy our visit to the Lacey WA Denny’s, which will be a review of its own.

Recently remodeled and it looks stylish and comfy. This Denny’s is not my favorite however because it’s just not. It’s still good tho.

The recent remodel is a plus. Everything looks nice and clean. Depending on the cook, the food is good. Waitresses are friendly, although some are a bit loud when talking to each other about their personal life, the service overall is average.
Cons: loud waitresses, horrible coffee.

Worst customer service tonight. I usually enjoy our random trips to this place on a Saturday or Sunday morning because they are always so friendly. Tonight was just the complete opposite. Not only was the service bad but as we were checking out the cashier took my husbands card from HIS hand and threw the receipt on the counter to where it fell off. Won’t be back here for a while. There’s plenty of other breakfast locations like Patty’s and The Homestead that are exceptional when it comes to both food and customer service.

I think this Denny’s is excellent, much better than the one off College St. In Olympia. They cook everything right and service is great as long as you don’t hit them during a big Sunday rush. I order eggs in a basket here and they cook it right without clear runny undercooked eggs like the location on College st.

Worst coffee I’ve ever had. I don’t know if it’s the machine or the brew but it was incredibly vile.
Service was mediocre and we weren’t checked on until the very end of our meal. She also forgot our box and another table’s order. If you have Laura as a server, prepare to remind her for every little thing. The cooks were also having an arguement with another server, and their weird passive aggressive bickering was getting on my nerves. Not very professional and a sign of poor management.

This used to be my family’s favorite spot. However, we are here today and we’re so disappointed. I don’t know what happened, maybe the new management, or something. The portions have gotten way smaller and the service was just bad. The whole place seems like a disaster.
The once great Southwest Turkey Sandwich which was once a thick sandwich, became two thin slices of turkey with 2 small thin slices of avocado and cheese in two greasy pieces of toast. Then there was the omelette, my dad ordered the a supreme omelette and usually it’s a very large omelette with tons of filling inside. But nope it was a very small omelette with barely anything inside. They have downsized all their portions, including the pancakes.
Then the service, ugh! I never had a problem with the open kitchen before, but now I dread it so much. The manager and waitresses were arguing with the cook and their conversation was really loud, everyone in the whole diner can hear. Then there are the waitresses. My family was sitting in a booth next to the cash register and the bathroom. All three waitresses were just standing next to us talking about pregnancy, water breaking, and the gruesome labor. This was while we were all eating. They could have gone to the back and talked there, but in front of customers. They could have cleaned instead of just standing there talking. I also can’t forget about the bathrooms. Both toilets were clogged and the place smelled of smoke, like someone’s been smoking in there.
I really wish I could give this place zero stars.

This location was clean, prompt/​courteous service, delicious food with scrumptious, fluffy egg whites!!!

Customer service here sucks. Rude waitresses with sarcastic come backs. Will never return to this one ever again.

Wow, one of the best Denny’s I have ever been to. President’s Day, close to 11am is when we were here. Seated right away, and it was still pretty full of people but not crazy busy and they had enough waitresses to cover the floor, which was a blessing, given the Unilocal reviews.
The coffee was strong (and not watery p**s like most iHops) the kids loved their meals, and ours tasted amazing! I am very pleased for our first visit here in Washington State! We just got here to JBLM with the Army. Going to return for another meal with my parents.

I’d give this Denny’s 3.5 stars out of 5. I had a traditional breakfast my hash browns could have been more toasted. My toast was overly buttered. The restrooms on one side were too small. I had to straddle the toilet to shut the door. Watch your cholesterol. They tend to slather your toast n pancakes in butter.

Nobody wants to sit in that booth next to the bathroom construction site! So quit sentencing customers to such an ordeal. Thank You very much for the quick service once you approved our request for a more humane sitting booth… but why are the portions almost only half the size than the ones at the DENNY’s in Five?
And if I had proof that 1 serving of eggs was rotten (smelled like straight ass), then it’d be on like donkey kong!

Typical Denny’s food. Service was slow, and with almost a empty restaurant y would you sit someone next to the bathroom? When my mom went to use the restroom she came back and told me it smelled like something died when I went to the restroom there was a puddle of pee on the floor below the pisser. I was super tired and didn’t see the big rip in the seat cushion that they decided to try to fix with plastic wrap. I have worked at two different Denny’s restaurants and have worked in the food service field for 17 years and this restaurant is probably the grossest one I have ever Ben to gives Denny’s a bad name

Took forever just to get to the counter to get a table. And after we got there, we had to wait longer for a table. We finally sat down and then waited, not kidding, ten minutes before a waitress even looked at us. Food was lukewarm, service was ok. When we got it.

Dennys is an average restaurant. Very average. No matter which one in any state, for better or worse you know what you’re going to get, which is average food, average service and average prices. It’s a place where you eat when you’re hungry. Forget about ambience or anything that makes you remember them. To their credit, it’s their standardization and «averageness» that keeps them in business, and is exactly what average people want.

Service is below average. You see the waitress only when she comes by to get your order, then to drop off your food. No asking if you need a refill, then drops your check off and tells you to go to the cashier to pay.

I’m giving this a 5 star rating mostly because of the service and value! We were a table of 4 (2 small kids & 2 adults), the service was fantastic! I feel bad because I can’t remember our servers name– but she had 2 braids in her hair & lots of energy!
She was great with the kids and very attentive! We were all starving after a long day of running errands and dinner time was fast approaching so we pulled over at the closest Denny’s. Our meals were good– typical Denny’s breakfast, everything was just right! They were fairly busy too, which is why the great service was so mentionable.
The best part was the unexpected «kids eat free»!
Kids eat free plus good service– you just can’t beat that! I would recommend this Denny’s to any family who just needs a break from the normal dinner routine!

Typical Denny’s. Service was good and worthy of 4 stars. Other customers didn’t seem to be complaining about anything and the people in the booth behind us has special requests and substitutions that were Accommodated with a cheerful attitude. Food was hot and fresh.
