Used to love this place but unfortunately the rudeness has turned me off for good. When the college/high school kids are working in the summer they are pleasant but once they go back to school the miserable women who don’t even want to look at you or say«How are you?» are left to work there. I don’t like to give my business to people who make me feel weird for walking in the store and give nasty looks. It’s really a shame because I did like their produce and all and would stop here almost weekly but I have found another local farm market that have friendly staff and great produce and baked goods.

Russo’s is all about tradition. They’ve been around for decades. They’re a mainstay in the Pinelands. They’re a family business. If you know anything about Tabernacle at all, then you know about Russo’s and their rep of serving the area with quality crops. Awhile back, I spent quite a bit of time out in Tabernacle and subsequently would find myself at Russo’s door every now and again. They didn’t disappoint with their offering of fruits, veggies, baked goods and other products. They’re pretty friendly too. Last weekend I made it back out for a visit, which is rare these days. The Cranberry Fest was happening in Chatsworth, but Russo’s was still drumming up quite the business. Their whole lot was full! We were lucky to get a parking spot. They also benefit from having a great location. They’re right across from the municipal complex(which resembles an old house) and is near the old cemetery and Nixon’s General Store. Aka: They’re right in the heart of town! Man, Tabernacle is such a gem. I’d say Russo’s is worth the stop if you’re, for whatever reason, in the area.

Several years ago we ran into this place, trying to recover from getting lost on a trail in the Pine Barrens. No surprise that, like with the trail’s direction, the farm slipped from our memories. Until recently. We passed by them finally and were able to revisit some of the same enjoyable flavors from before. Sweet & soft Apple Cider donuts, a wide assortment of well priced pies, local honey, tons of produce and some fun holiday items. We loaded up on these and more, but are already planning out next trip out. I want to try the cider they offer as well as grab another round of donuts.

This place is the best. I’ve been getting planters from here for years. Every plant they sell is priced low. Their coconut custard pie is probably the best I’ve had. The staff is super nice and it’s a great pit stop on the way to or from LBI when theirs traffic on 70.

Be careful – they«palm» some fruits/vegetables off as their own – they are NOT! Be careful what you buy! Prices went up from last year. Pies are DELICIOUS and worth the price. But be careful with some fruit pies like the peach pie – they must use canned peaches in that one. Ask them when you buy a pie if the fruit is fresh or canned. Pies are $ 12.00 up – so ask.

My husband and I went for the time to this farm market. Its one of those places that you know that you drive by a thousands times and never think to stop. This time we did. As soon as we walked in we were made to feel unwelcomed. and No one ever said hello. At first we thought that they were closed. Because there were no lights on threw the entire store. That made it very hard to see anything. The prices on most of the Christmas items were extremely overpriced. And the small bakery that is within the store was depressing to say the least. The room was dark and dingy and made everything less appetizing. The prices on everything was inflated, They did have a sale on Fall and Halloween items. When I was getting ready to check out it was mass confusion there is a Hugh checkout counter that was filled with paperwork making it hard to put anything on the counter. We have no incentive to ever go back there.

Great apple cider donuts and local grown fruit and vegetables. They also have an area with local winery items. Great autumn décor available for purchase too. Fresh produce and great prices. The family and staff are helpful and friendly.

This place has the best apple cider donuts! I have tried apple cider donuts all over the country especially in NJ and PA but, this place is always best. The donuts are moist, flavorful, and have the right amount of that sweetness! The people who work there are very nice too! They used to make a potato and pea pie that was amazing! This is also a good place to go pumpkin picking!
