Simply AWFUL ! Every aspect of this establishment was awful ! The minute we walked in the door we walked into a conversation we should not of heard and were very appalled. After being seated our server showed up about 7 minutes after we were there on a dead Tuesday night. She did not know the menu at all and suggested the mozzarella sticks because they were cheesy. After ordering our third beer because the first 2 were out of stock it came to the table 10 minutes later with no head and warm. The server came back took our order and disappeared for the night. We saw her when we were leaving arguing with the manager about who he was sleeping with ! Very classy joint wish we got dinner and a show but the food was awful.

This was the worst service I have encountered yet. We were seated in the middle isle area in front of the bar as you walk in. We had a server for this area, but didn’t see her often. We then went to the bar, got service the first time immediately, the second time the bartender walked by us 4 times and then went to someone else in our party that had just walked up to the bar. I’ve been in this industry for several years, and could not enjoy my experience because of the mediocre service. We then ordered food, and drinks. It took well over 15 minutes for the beer that we saw sitting at the end of the bar. When we asked her for it, Alexis tried to tell us it was the bar, when she was clearly distracted with other things(such as the bus boy.) It took roughly 30 min to get our food after it sat in the window for 15 of those 30 minutes. I would not recommend getting service from Alexis.

Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery is a Celtic themed sports bar and restaurant chain in the Unites States and Canada that employs scantily-clad female servers in short kilts. Tilted Kilt is different than other sports bars because of its theme that combines Celtic décor, humorous and slightly bawdy limericks and sexy cast members with food and drinks. The entire staff dresses in thematic attire; the men wear kilts and the women wear«mini-kilts» and plaid bras. The restaurant’s tagline is, «A cold beer never looked so good.» I originally thought Tilted Kilt was a Irish/Scottish themed restaurant having never heard of it, until someone told me that’s it’s basically a «breasturaunt.» A friend was in from out of town and suggested we give it a try, so we figured why not. It was around 6 on a Friday night and it was pretty empty. We were sat right away and went over the menu. Nothing especially jumped out at us, but I went for an SOB burger while my buddies went for a burger and shepards pie. Food was delivered pretty quickly. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great. My buddy with the shepards pie was taking forever to eat. When we asked why, he admitted he really wasn’t enjoying his meal, but didn’t wanna feel as if he’d wasted his money by not eating it. My burger was eh… nothing great about it. Wasn’t exceptionally flavorful or anything. Just a boring burger really. Service was fine. The girl who waited on us was very nice and checked on us regularly. A little too regularly, but that’s better than never checking. The décor was nice, mostly wood accents, wood floors and Celtic themed decorations. It’s Hooters with skirts. If you wanna get waited on by a half naked girl, this is your place. If you want good food, not so much.

Extremely loud to the point we couldn’t hear our server. Food and service was decent, I don’t thing I would recommend the place as there are many better places to have dinner. It’s more of a pub for a young guy. And to be honest I didn’t enjoy it at all and left with a headache due to the noise

This is a Hooligan’s style restaurant with Hooter’s style servers with an Applebee’s style location. That said, good drinks, good eye candy, and plenty of room to hang out with your friends. Lots of TVs, reasonable prices.

I love going to the kilt! It’s great for football and the patio is great for the summer. The bartenders are my favorite, they are always on top of the specials and recommendations for what I’m in the mood for. The best and my favorite is Lindsey, she’s talkative and sweet. I love her humor and the way she always remembers my drink. :) can’t wait to go back Props to Pete the bar manager for keeping such a great staff!

Terrible restaurant! Showed up a little before 11 pm on a Friday night and was told that the kitchen was already closed. When we asked what time they close, we were told 1 am, but they sometimes close early. We asked if we could just get a bowl of chips and salsa, but were told no because the kitchen is closed. Seriously, it’s chips and salsa, from a bag and a jar. How much cooking does that require.

The ONLY reason we went here was we were in the hotel in the same parking lot… however I should have checked the reviews — they were spot on. Pathetic place really, huge place inside, 100 TVs all working, but only maybe 15 tables full everyone else seated at the bar — but it was this past Monday night. I got the pulled pork sandwich, dont know why, but risked it — came out hunks of meat, not pulled hardly at all — and cold — but the taste of the sauce was good. Thank God the fries were hot, and my beer was cold. Our entertainment for night — what looked like the manager, or one of them, eating with his family a few tables away. Different waitresses bringing them so much food — including a rack of ribs — which we looked for on the menu and not there, they looked good but not order-able. They must have taken home 4 different containers of food left over. Lesson learned — go somewhere else — tons of restaurants in Syracuse — bypass this one, even if you dont feel like driving…

The previous reviewer said the beer was expensive but $ 13.50 for 220 ounce premium beers is not extravagant! Good bartender too.

called and was told there was no wait. we got there within five minutes and were told we had a 20 minute wait which turned out to actually be an hour. the hostess had no clue what was going on and never knew when we would be seated the various times we asked. finally when the manager came around she figured things out. food was OK. our waitress didn’t seem to know too much but she tried. out of our group two of our orders came with old fries. the others were pleased. au jus was spilled on most of my fries and half of my sandwich which made them soggy. probably won’t be back.

Worst place I’ve been to in Syracuse. Service and food were less than one star. Especially the service. How hard is it to look pretty and pay attention to your customers?

I have been to a few Tilted Kilt restaurants in the past few years and this one in Syracuse is amazing. One of the waitresses told me that it is a brand new built restaurant and it really shows. The bar area is huge which allows a lot of my friends to comfortably sit and watch the game and have a drink. The food is fantastic. The menu is large and engaging. My favorites are the Irish Nachos and Gaelic Chicken, the latter being my favorite dish of all chain restaurants. I see that some people have commented about the beer pricing. What I have realized over some time is that the Tilted Kilt beer glass is 20oz and usually other restaurants are giving out the standard 16oz pint. In my opinion, I think you get a better deal at TK due to the size and also because of the ambiance. And speaking of ambiance… well that speaks for itself. The waitresses are always attentive and attractive. When they have the time, they sit and chat with you which is always cool. All in all I love Tilted Kilt!!!

To echo previous comments, the service was the WORST, servers seem lost in their own worlds or too busy talking to other servers. I am a 20+% tipper. I wanted to leave nothing. Food took forever, and cold as it could be. They did not even ask if everything was alright. Just asked if we wanted another drink, which would have required me to give more money to these people that didn’t care about how my experience was. I left about 8% tip, and wrote on the check, …:cold food! After reading the reviews, you would think management would take notice, which is why Unilocal is great, it’s a management tool. Take good advice from someone who won’t be back, you need to fix it!

I don’t often post reviews for restaurants or bars after only 1 visit, but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here after reading many negative reviews. So, I thought that warranted a review. We came here on St. Patrick’s Day, of all days, but not to celebrate. I was starving when I got off work, went to our usual sushi place which had a long wait, and then decided to come here instead because it was nearby. I was very skeptical, but everything about our visit was great. The service was quick, attentive, friendly, and helpful. We wanted to order a couple of flavors of boneless wings, but there are so many choices that we couldn’t decide. The bartender offered his suggestions, and we loved the sauce flavors he suggested! The boneless wings themselves were fantastic. Good quality chicken, cooked perfectly, and the perfect amount of sauce. We also got salt and pepper fries, which were also delicious. They are on the thinner side, so if you don’t like that I wouldn’t order them. Our drinks were made well, and I highly recommend the Angry Long Island. It was great and very refreshing for a long island ice tea. I liked the décor and the vibe of the place, though I couldn’t care one way or the other about the staff’s attire. Overall, it was a much more positive experience than I was expecting, and it was a lot better than some other places I’ve been to. We will definitely be back. Tip: They have happy hour from 3 – 7, though I can’t remember if it is daily or only M-F. It includes some good food deals and some beer specials. For the food we got when we were there, half an order of boneless wings was $ 4.50 and fries were 2.50.

Not impressed with the service or food. Mostly guys eat there, for obvious reasons. Not what I’d call a good hang out place.

The good… Me and my father loved the irish stew. Very very good and we ate it all. nice garlic bread. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The bad… I dont like the layout and décor. The tables and chairs seem… old and creaky somehow and low rent. Also those uniforms… they just dont flatter the attractive ladys at all especially their midrifts sheesh they just look weird and sexless somehow.

Save your money for the strip club across the street! This place is over priced and the food/service sucks. Our waitress forgot our appitzer and then blamed it on the kitchen! The drinks are way over priced and the food is greasy. Paid over $ 70 for 3 chicken finger dinners and 3 beers,

My nachos were freezing cold. Our food took for ever to come out and was cold. I have no idea how because the fire alarm went off twice… they had to have been cooking something… and not my chicken for my wrap!

I’ve been twice for lunch. Based upon those visits I think the waitresses are great and the food is above average for a bar oriented chain. Having said that, the kitchen needs some practice. Specifically, while my food was good both visits, it was slow in coming. On my second visit, at 11:45 on a Friday, it took about 40 minutes for the food to arrive our table. When it got there it was well prepared and hot and fresh. However, a 40 minute wait during lunchtime is too long for most people who need to return to work. If you are not in a hurry, there are enough things around to keep your eyes occupied while you wait.
