I like Popeye’s better than Kentucky Fried Chicken. Other than that Food Court service and cleanliness is the same everywhere. Sorry, there is not much more to say.

Good chicken fast service but rather pricey for what it is. Most of the sides are not too good they tend to taste old like they wet made last week or something When I was down south I thought the food was better and it seemed more affordable too

I’d seen the tv ad over and over telling me how tasty the chicken at Popeye’s was. I checked their restaurant finder and found that the nearest was in Syracuse, about an hour away. As fate would have it I was heading there later that week so decided that I’d try it. Well, what can I say? Dry, tasteless chicken accompanied by warm, soggy fries. The biscuit though was beautiful. Light, fluffy and buttery. Absolutely lovely. But the biscuits aren’t why I was there. I was there for chicken and I left disappointed and hungry. At least it’s out of the way and I can now ignore those tv ads.

First off, service is terrible. The menu is a little confusing, with small text advising what comes with the combos. The woman who took my order was pretty much like the drill sergeant from Full Metal Jacket. The chicken, on the other hand, is incredible. It’s perfectly cooked, with crispy skin and soft, flavorful meat. It’s basically the only reason this review is 3 stars. Biscuits are meh, and mashed potatoes are, while better than average, underwhelming. TL;DR: Really good chicken. Prepare for hostile staff. Avoid sides.

Not bad for fast food. I have to admit that popcorn shrimp is my secret fast food love. The store itself is pretty slow and confusing. There’s only part of a menu posted even though they sell everything in a stand alone business.

Me and a friend try to order the smokey garlic chile chicken told the person that’s what we wanted he took are money and we pay. Assistant manager told us they would be a 10 minute wait for the chicken. I was find with that. When we got are chicken and ask for the sauce I was told corporate has not sent us the sauce. When I ask for a refund he would not give a refund to us. Also the chicken pieces was very small. I also see on the website it was $ 4.99 but we were charge $ 6.95 each. Will not be going back there again.

No offense to KFC but popeyes spicy chicken blows them away. Popeyes chicken is nice and crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. Their mashed potatoes are also way better than KFC. They have lots if stuff on the menu but you cant beat that spicy chicken… there still are lines 15 deep on weekends, its that good.

Can’t believe the Popeye’s chain allows this franchise to represent their product. Does the owner have something on the health department inspector? The staff is beyond rude. The place is disgustingly dirty– product all over the floor and counters. And the owner is as careless and inconsiderate as the rest of the staff. Popeye’s makes a great product, but this location should be closed. Go away!

Love my Popeye’s. When I lived in Georgia, every town had its Popeye’s franchise. KFC just doesn’t compare. I’ve eaten at different Popeye’s establishments in several communities, and the quality is consistent… Great, crispy coating and juicy, tender, and thoroughly cooked chicken. Spicy is the best. I also like their fluffy biscuits and the side order of mashed potatoes and gravy. Granted, the potatoes are just fast-food fare, hardly genuine mashed potatoes, but that peppery gravy goes down right. When I stopped by tonight, there was a long line at Popeye’s and hardly anyone at any of the other chains in the food court. People were actually discussing their Popeye’s experiences in other towns and states while waiting in line. Too funny, like we were on a fine wine trail or something. I’m glad that Popeye’s is slowly expanding into the North, but not fast enough for me.

This location is brand new, we ended up standing in a line of approx 30 people but the line moved fast. I ordered a 3 piece combo, 1 breast, 2 leg, with mild chicken and mac and cheese as my side. My girlfriend ordered a 2 piece combo, 1 leg, 1 thigh, with mild chicken and Cajun fries. Both meals came with a drink and biscuit as well. The chicken was very moist and had tons of flavor. The chicken was very crispy. The one thing I noticed was that the chicken, especially the breast and thigh were cooked well. You’ll find some times at these kind of places you end up with the larger or more boney sections looking not quite cooked all the way through. The fries were crispy and flavorful, my mac & cheese on the other hand was very watery. Relatively inexpensive, costing just over $ 14.00 for the two of us… and we were very well fed.
