As with any reviews I write when it comes to chain eateries, it’s hard to give any more than 3 – 4 stars if you enjoy them. This particular Panera location is clean, friendly, and steadily busy. This can make finding a table on a weekday between noon and 1PM a bit more of an adventure than some people may be interested in. The order process has sped up thanks to Panera’s new tablet style ordering stations. This is especially nice for customizing your order. I’m a big fan of the soup in a bread bowl concept, which Panera has always done a great job with. I recently tried the creamy chicken and wild rice soup and was pleasantly surprised at how creamy and tasty it was. Definitely will be back once the snow starts to fly! All in all, this Panera is a solid spot for the workday crowd if you don’t mind waiting a bit.

Food was as expected and you certainly pay a premium for it but what impressed me most was the staff. I have carpal tunnel pretty severely and the stiffness kicked in just as I was finishing making an iced coffee and I spilled the entire cup. I felt so bad and made such a mess. One particular young woman behind the counter recognized my look of regret and assured me not to worry and actually offered me an empty cup to get another. In her immediacy and genuine tone I was reassured and although I still felt like a fool I wasn’t made to be uncomfortable in the restaurant. I’ll eat here again just on that principal alone and I’ll try not to spill anything. If it helps, before I made the mess I did clean up my table and chair when I got up to get the coffee on the way out.

We’ve come to expect consistent great service. This didn’t meet those expectations. On the positive side the food was good and the place was large with plenty of seating inside & out. However… 1.The location wasn’t easy to find. 2. The staff directed us to the new«fast ordering» kiosk. It was difficult to use to say the least! And people were rolling by us placing their orders with the cashier faster. 3. At this location the staff bring the food to you but the order was wrong. Items were missing and she didn’t even know it or know what they were. 4. I ordered oatmeal… I like brown sugar but it was covered in so much sugar that I had to scoop out several tablespoons :( 5. No one was wiping tables or sweeping. Very little staff were visible. So who would’ve cleaned? 6. One customer told a staff member the coffee was out and the staff didn’t believe her… actually, when she looked, three pots were empty!!!

Always good for what I am looking for. A good salad and a nice cup of tea and a place to relax, unless you come at rush hour 12 – 2!

This location is not as good as others. Employees always seem very resentful to wait on customers. I’ve been glared at for being in line. Not welcoming. Food is not as fresh tasting as other locations. But what really rubbed me the wrong way is the cashier not even taking the moment to tell me what reward I have on MyPanera Card! Come on, how lazy is that? Yeah, I want to save money and earn rewards… that’s why I have a Card!

I eat here every now and then, and also at the Cicero and clay locations. It’s a great place to meet clients as well because it’s usually clean and they have wifi. The food is yummy and I usually get a soup and sandwich combo. The ‘Panera card’ doesn’t seem to be much more than a tracking device though, because the rewards are few and far between. All I’m although, I highly recommend Panera. The turkey bacon bravo sandwich(grilled) is a favorite.

I love me some Panera soup in a bread bowl and their salads are always a tasty treat, but this particular Panera doesn’t seem on top of their game. I just moved back to the Syracuse area and have gone to Panera 3 times. Two out of the last two times I went they were out of clean dishes. My friend and I each ordered tea and drank them out of paper cups in the restaurant because they were out of clean mugs. Then they were out of clean silverware so we had to eat with plastic silverware. This annoys me for a couple reasons. If I’m going to eat at a restaurant, I would like it to feel like I’m actually eating at a restaurant and not on a picnic. I think it’s also a huge waste — if they’re giving everyone plastic silverware and paper cups instead of real dishes and utensils, that’s pretty ridiculous. How are they constantly running out?

Chopped chicken Cobb salad was tasty but I would have liked more blue cheese. The coffee is good and there is ample seating for work or meeting or reading. Can get busy around lunch and dinner. Free wifi is a plus.

I think this is my favorite Panera here in the Syracuse area. It does tend to get packed with SU and LeMoyne students, especially where tables with outlets are prime real estate for laptops. It has a cozier atmosphere than the one in Fayetteville, especially when you sit in the area with the fireplace. I don’t like the narrow layout of the one in Fayetteville, where the fireplace, if it’s even on, is hidden in some corner nook where few can enjoy the ambiance.. The one is Destiny USA is obviously always packed, but better than sitting in the food court if you can find a seat. I’ve also been the the ones in Clay and Cicero on occasion and they’re not bad.

Wow, this place is Amazingly … terrible. Last time I came here, I ordered a chicken bacon panini. First my friend and I waited for about 10 minutes for a table, and then we waited another 10 minutes before food came. Really? 20 minutes for a Panini? The bakery down the block from my house takes 5 minutes to toast a Panini. Oh and what about the food itself? If I’m gonna wait 20 minutes, at least they could’ve made some good food. I mean I could’ve broken my teeth on their«bacon». How long has that bacon been sitting outside? It was like a piece of tasteless leather, and I almost spat it out. The bread wasn’t much better. The ONLY thing the ALMOST did right was the chicken. But even that they messed up. It was dry and tough. But at least it almost tasted like chicken. So yeah, service was bad. Food was worse. Trust me … this place is so awful that I’m here making a public service announcement. You’re Welcome
