Maines Food & Party Warehouse

While I don’t buy everything in bulk, my FoodSaver is a money saver, and I will buy meats in bulk and break them into meal-​sized portions at home. Maine’s has special «Deals» texts if you like them on fb and sign up for notifications. Their meats are quality, and I love their hot sausage! Deli department prices are hard to beat!

This is a supermarket, restaurant and kitchen supply, and party supply store. Do they pull it off or do they try to accomplish too much?
For me personally, I am not in the market for bulk quantities of any food item. If you are and you do not want to join a club like Sam’s of BJ’s, this place might be good for you. They have a fresh produce section, a deli and a wide selection of fresh meats including some good looking steaks. Of course, they have large packages of their beef, pork, chicken etc… and meat such as a ground beef in a monster sized tube shaped package. How am I to use all of that? (Don’t answer that one!)
They have a very large selection of frozen food products, canned goods, and all sorts of food normally found in a supermarket although, all are supplied in large quantities. A section is dedicated to part supplies with decorations, tablecloths, plates and other festive garnishes. The kitchen supply section sells many items suitable for either restaurant or home use: knives, glasses, pans, cookie cutters, pizza peels, baking pans etc… Here, I have bought some surprisingly good quality non stick pans and kitchen knives at competitive prices. If you need a large deep fryer, popcorn maker, mandolin, etc… they are available here. I think their equipment is quite functional but is not the top tier that is available.
In terms of appearance, the facility is older and a little run down but, you can still have a satisfying shopping experience.
