The service is quick when you walk in to order and take out. I’ve been here a few times and the food is good. I’ve had both the sesame chicken and the shrimp lo mein which had plenty of food in the portion. My husband likes the Mongolian beef. The egg drop soup was kind of thin but the steamed pot stickers were good.

I guess if you don’t know what sushi is SUPPOSED to taste like, you might be able to stomach this place. The Salt Lake roll had old, overripe avocado, overcooked and unfresh eel and I couldn’t chew the shrimp on the iside, as it was too rubbery. Speaking of shrimp. The shrimp tempura appetizer was obviously purchased in bulk from Sams Club, then deep — fried and served to me. I had to send it back, it wasn’t even close to shrimp tempura! The chefs came out to talk to me because I was taking a photo, and made me a California roll. It was actually pretty good, but then again, what can you do to screw up a California roll?

I ate here last night and the food was awful. And that was after we waited 30 minutes for the food after we ordered it. When we did get served, the plates were hurriedly thrown on the table and the woman who delivered them didn’t even look at us. The food was flavorless and bland. I will never go back.

This place is awesome. The people are nice. I came from a place where food is king. Is this on the level of food from Hawaii? No, but from Syracuse. Utah is good. Have a good attitude going in and be kind to others. Your experience will be good. If you go in judgemental and grouchy then you’re not going to enjoy it. They were kind to my whole family and the food was good. Maybe their struggling, maybe times are tough, but they work hard. Enjoy the food, be nice and come again. Aloha and God bless.

The service here was TERRIBLE. Our waitress didn’t even come to ask if we wanted any drinks until she was finished eating herself at another table. And no one else came over either. We didn’t even realize that all of the people at that table were not guests until we realized the kitchen was empty and so was the front desk. When we finally got served our sushi it was horrible. The fish didn’t seem very fresh at all. The soda was flat and no one even asked us how everything was and only came back to the table once to bring the bill. We were also the only customers in there so it’s not like they were too busy. DONOTGOHERE! TOTALWASTEOFMONEY.

This place is just the worst! Let me start by saying, I am typically pretty forgiving when it comes to eating at a restaurant that is understaffed and I can usually choke down less than stellar food. That being said, the food and service here was awful. My husband and I had eaten here once before a few weeks ago and we were pretty pleased. I ordered the general tso’s chicken and my husband ordered sesame chicken. It was typical Chinese food, comparable to panda express or what you could get in a mall food court. Fast forward to yesterderday. I was in the mood for sushi and my husband wasn’t particularly in the mood for anything specific, so thought we’d try this place again… bad decision. When we walked in, the waitress/hostess was sitting at a table on the phone and just gestured to us to sit down anywhere we liked. We sat down and waited a few minutes, and finally I had to get up and get our own menus from beside the register, the girl still just sat there. Finally she came over and took our drink order. We all ordered water and I asked if we could get edamame as an appetizer. We got our drinks fairly quickly and she took our food order. My husband ordered sesame chicken again since he liked it so much the first time and I ordered just one Philly Roll. After we made our order it took probably 30 – 40 minutes for our food to come out, this is a small place with maybe 10 dining tables. It should not have taken so long. Finally, my husband got his food, then after waiting a while longer my Philly Roll came out, still no edamame. I took one bite of my Philly Roll and thought it tasted odd, I thought maybe it was just the sauce that was on top which was not typical on a Philly roll so I had one more, it was the still gross. I had my husband taste it and he felt the same way, just nasty! Typically a Philly roll is smoked salmon, cream cheese, and avocado. After investigating my phyilly roll from Imperial Asian Cuisine I realized that this Philly Roll was made of a salmon, cucumber, mayo spread, and what was worst of all was that the smoked Salmon was CANNEDSMOKEDSALMON!!! How can any self respecting sushi place even call that sushi. I was so appalled I couldn’t even eat anymore. Thank goodness my edamame finally came out, last I might add, so I could get some sort of sustenance. The edamame was good, but pretty had to mess up. My husband offered to share his sesame chicken, but that wasn’t even as good as the first time he had it. Needless to say, we will probably not be dining there again and if there was a no star option, that’s what I would have rated this place.

The Chinese dishes are pretty good for the most part, the sushi that I have tried is mostly bland, and I would only get it because it’s close. They were little iffy about allergy information. Better to drive to Layton and get stuff that tastes more fresh. Clean, but a little cramped with all of the tables.

I moved here from California 5 years ago and was excited when I found this restaurant. I was a regular since I moved here. And then they changed management. Here is my one and only experience with the new mgmt. I came in and ordered a takeout order. I asked for multiple things including a salmon skin handroll and a sashimi deluxe meal. They said it would take 15 minutes. 45 minutes later, the order came out. No handroll and the sashimi deluxe I ordered was a sushi deluxe. I said fine I will take sushi instead of sashimi, but I want a handroll instead of normal roll. They also forgot my miso soup that came with the order. They didn’t know what a handroll was. I had to take a piece of paper and roll it into a cone and then they said they understood. They said okay, but they finished multiple people’s order and didn’t even start my hand roll. People were coming in and getting their order in and then getting their food and I’m still waiting. After a total of 1 hour and 10 minutes total, I don’t see them starting my handroll or getting me my miso soup. I then realize they’re just hoping I leave if they ignore me. After an hour and 15 minutes, I ask for my money back and left the rest of the food. Never again…

Pretty awesome food. Whenever we’re passing through we always get it. Wife loves the strawberry chicken. Always been very pleased with the food, service and prices. The sushi isn’t my favorite though. Been happy with everything else we’ve tried.

Good but not the best. The staff is super polite and always checks back to make sure drinks are filled and group is satisfied. The food is decent but pricey. The restaurant is super small and cramped but they always have good sports stations on TV. The sushi is better than average and they have a good selection of alcohol.

New management and staff. Things have changed and not for the better. This was one of my favorite places to visit, usually weekly or more. Not any more. The last few times have been a bit painful and as mentioned, the changes to the menu and business model aren’t a plus. The quality of food is drastically below what it was a short time ago. Big bummer. I think we are done here. On a positive note, our chickens ate well today…

Our«sushi» came with a «special sauce» on top. Mayo. When I asked the server he totally denied it. And this is the only sushi restaurant that has a Veggie roll that has lettuce and tomato in it. Stay away.

Service was great, but I wasn’t exactly blown away by the lemon chicken. Sad panda.

I ate lunch here this week with my daughter & adult granddaughter. We all ate different selections from the menu. I had a lunch special: Shrimp in Lobster Sauce, which came with ham fried rice, an egg roll & choice of soup.(I had the egg flower soup.) The prices were quite reasonable. Everything was delicious and piping hot. The service was very fast & accomodating. My daughter raved about her food. My granddaughter ordered sushi, a type she had not eaten before. She did not care for it, & our server was very gracious about removing it, & allowing her to make a new selection, which she was very pleased with. Even my lunch special was a very large portion, & I was the only one of us who had leftover food on my plate, which I took home. I enjoyed it so much, my husband & I are going to get take-out there tonight!

The sushi is excellent, never questionable. The chicken lettuce wraps were better than PF Changs. Their lemon chicken is the best I’ve EVER tried. Try the samurai roll. Drink some sake. Enjoy. Excellent value! Prices are very affordable.

I thought I had found my favorite Asian restaurant after moving to the area… but I was wrong. This place is my favorite for sure! Not only is the food good but the prices are also. Food is always fresh and high quality. Awesome sushi rolls! Would recommend to anyone,

Don’t ask me how I found this place, but I did… and am entirely happy I did. Completely un-pretentious, low cost, and the food is sold. Don’t expect Takashi’s though. It ain’t. But I’ll go here 5⁄1 times over Takashi for customization and value. You must try the T-horse Shooter. MotherofGod! Sake, ponzu, tobiko, YELLOWTAIL, other(I have it with a whole chicken yolk)
