Dorian’s Gourmet Pizza and Deli

Second time I’ve gone and second time they f*cked up my order. This time no cole slaw on a Poseidon. Not driving back from L’Pool at 1am to get it corrected. I let mistakes go by once, but after a 2^nd that’s it.

Went there for the first time tonight, and the food was awesome. Great menu to select from for sandwiches and pizza, fresh ingredients and just a good experience. Not sure what the guy behind the counter making my sandwiches name was but he came out, asked how it was, super friendly service and you could tell they wanted you to have a pleasant experience. I’ll definitely be going back!

If I could give this negative stars I would. I ordered on a Sunday, from which this establishment is opened until 3am. I happened to order at 12.40. They said I would receive my order in half an hour. I waited 45 minutes and called again. They misplaced my order and needed me to repeat my address. I then waited until 2 and called again. They misplaced my order and I repeated my address again. The quality inn cannot be too hard to find. Especially when I gave them the street address as well. My night ended waiting more than two hours for food. Waiting on hold for about 30 minutes, and having the phone lines close. I have never had such a horrible experience with delivery. I will never even attempt to order from this place again. And I encourage you not to try this place either.

Overpriced and overrated. I have eaten here a number of times and am always treated like a nuisance. Recently orders from them and was told over an hour later that there was a blackout on my street for delivery. This is after the store called and confirmed my order. I received a call stating that the store will not deliver this far out, I am a quarter mile from the store. When I called the store they said they had no control over it because they contract through a third party for delivery.

Nice, good service, low prices… the pizza doesn’t have enough sauce so it just tastes like bread. Pretty lame

Their pizza is pretty good but I’m mainly giving the 4 stars for their fries. They’re honestly some of my favorites I can find in the city. Super good.

We ordered delivery. We ordered a chicken cutlet parm sandwich that was cooked to perfection. Just the right amount of sauce and mozzarella. We also order the gyro which was outstanding (I’m greek) and the veggie burger which was also a perfect patty! The delivery time said it would be an hour and the cut it down to 40 minutes. We are beyond impressed and will be ordering from them regularly.

Worst chicken wings in the world they look like Tyson any-​tizers but didn’t even taste as good. BOO.

I ordered a large pizza to pair with my marathon of Bob Ross on Twitch. When it arrived I was displeased that I had to leave my apartment to pick up the pizza from the building’s entrance, leaving me completely exposed to the neighbors who might dare to interact with me. When I returned to my apartment (or as I call it my lair haha xD) I ate the entire pizza alone in about a 20 minute window. This gave me bad heartburn and indigestion all night leading into the following morning. «Why can’t I control myself!?» I asked myself throughout the night while on the verge of tears. All night the pizza called to attention the gaping void in my life, a reminder that no amount of pizza, masturbation, or sports will compensate for crippling loneliness and fear of the unknown. The pizza was good however: 5 stars

I haven’t ordered from here in years but thankfully I used a third party service (grubhub) I ordered for pickup but when my food wasn’t ready after an hour or so I switched to delivery but they refused to deliver.

Quick service and great food. I’m not sure why I didn’t give this place a chance earlier. The gyro is delicious. The curly fries are sooooo good. I’m definitely coming back.

THE BEST!!! They have Pizza/​Greek Subs/​Fried apps and Fresh salads. Customer service has turned a 180 thanks to Joe the manager and Kosta the owner caring about about hiring new quality, friendly and caring employees. Delivery drivers really hustle and put special care in your wait times, order accuracy and keeping your food hot and fresh.
I would HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars.
First of all, I have ordered multiple times from here. All of the last two years I ordered multiple times a month. This year, however, the food is not good. It use to be great, but now the restaurant is awful.
Twice in the last week I ordered the same salad and they gave me the wrong salad instead. Tonight, I ordered my typical salad I always use to get and an order of hummus. The salad was incorrect, only containing half of the ingredients on it. The hummus that I ordered tasted vile. Absolutely VILE. I love hummus and took my first bite and SPIT IT OUT. it tasted like rotten fish. Other people tried it and all spit it out. Upon contacting the restaurant, they would not refund me for my hummus-​only my salad. The fact that I had to pay for that vile order of hummus is astonishing. The management at this place does not have a clue how to run a restaurant. I even offered for them to come try it! They made a huge mistake, as word of mouth travels very fast and I can guarantee that there will be a decline in Syracuse university orders and anyone else I come into contact with. I am so annoyed. This place is horrible!!! There are so many other better Greek options in the area, such as, byblos. Bye bye dorians I hope you close.

Ordered curl fries and pizza. The pizza was cold when delivered. The curl fries were good though.

The food is good. The restaurant could use a little sprucing up but that’s ok bc they deliver. Pizza and wings is the way to go here. Their honey bbq wings and Cajun (dry rub) are my favs!!! Try them. You won’t be disappointed.

Incredible!!! Their deep dish Chicago style pizza was pretty darn good and the Reuben I ordered was very delicious and portion size was great. Five stars!!!

Tried this place for a quick lunch just driving thru Syracuse from NJ to Ontario. Average food. Dingy atmosphere. College town kinda place. We ordered 2 Greek God sandwiches. .supposed to be served hot. Rolls were ice cold with warm insides. Friendly staff but won’t be back.

Not necessarily the nicest place around, but the food is awesome, which I guess is most important. I order delivery most of the time and it always gets here within 20 minutes. The wraps are awesome, the buffalo chicken pizza is also very good. And I highly recommend the Curley fries. So gold. The menu is also very comprehensive and there are tons of great options.

Love Dorian’s wings and fries. Just tried their cajun fries and garlic chicken wings. They were my late night guilty-​pleasure snacks and as unhealthy as they are, they were delicious. I couldn’t finish neither the fries nor the wings by myself as the smallest size they sell is 10 wings and a whole large basket of fries, and that is the only negative thing– you should have some one help you finish it! I have yet to try their pizzas though. Also they are open till 230am on Fri/​Sat which is so rare in Syracuse!

Moving Food
I was moving to Syracuse and in need of quick food to feed those who helped me. The pizza was solid. However it was the hummus and pita that inspired me to write a review. Delivery hummus and pita was fantastic.
