Whenever I come to this location, it is always busy. Good customer service & the food tastes like typical Chipotle.

I ordered a salad bowl and it was one of the skimpiest bowls I’ve ever got at a Chipotle.

American-tasting burrito, guacamole costs extra(not 50 cents extra – $ 2.05), fire-roasted gross salsa… total: $ 10.64…good tortilla and steak… two out of three staff were rude. A real Mexican place would include guacamole, good burritos and good salsa with a good attitude for $ 7

Chipotle is tasty and reliably filling without feeling greasy all day like you would with other fast food however this location never has enough parking during any normal meal time.

Great quality food. You won’t find anything like it at this price any where else. No GMO’s. Our go to restaurant it’s the only one we can all agree on.

A little pricey but worth it. .i drive from cicero to this location because I think it’s the best around. I also work close and they always get me in and out with plenty of time to eat before my lunch break is over. Love this place

Very few options, charges extra for more chips, no salsa bar, pretty flavorless.

I didn’t have a great experience here. I travel to Syracuse once a month and was looking forward to my Chipotle meal all day. I got there and ordered a burrito bowl and wanted the salad dressing, they told me they were out of it. Then I did my rice and they asked what meat, I said pork, they said there is something wrong at this time and aren’t serving pork. Already annoyed, I’m going to pay for my order and I see the guy scooping the salad dressing directly behind the cashier. Thank god I said something. I will probably drive further to find a different restaurant than go back here.

went on a Saturday not hugely busy, food was prepared pretty quick mostly due to the limited menu. had burrito and a salad both ordered with guacamole with two med soft drinks 23 f-n dollars crap yep the banged us 2.05 $ for each orde3r for the Guac! 4.10 for two spoons of avocado? over all quality was so so, space was very very loud. won’t go back to this one or any other. find a Moe’s cleaner better variety better pricing better food.

no wonder this chipotle has mediocre reviews. you should have seen the way this chick«closed» my burrito. they have ten people on the line and they all skimp on veg and sofritas, I worked at subway when I was 15. I understand the tactic that if you give smaller amounts, you have to do less prep. and they also don’t know that you should drain the salsa before applying to burrito. I grabbed 9,001 napkins so the juice isn’t dripping down my arm to my ass. at least it tasted ok.

Used to love Chipotle but this location is terrible. They skimp on all the toppings and instead of giving you the proper half-half serving, I think I got a tiny scoop of barbacoa and then literally three pieces of chicken :/I also felt very rushed even though the place wasn’t busy at all. They are not very nice about giving extra empty containers for hot sauce(to-go order). Barbacoa was bland and very mushy.

This is a very typical Chipotle location, with a unique layout and good service. All the seating is at odd heights, but honestly, who cares when the burritos are that good?

I was excited when this Chipotle opened as I had always heard that good things. Now that it’s been open about a year, I’m glad to report that it’s still a great option when looking for lunch or dinner on Erie Blvd. As mentioned in another review, the food is not«authentic», but the ingredients they use are very fresh. The cheese is freshly shredded, guacamole is made on site, and the meats are always grilling in the background while you are ordering your food. I’ve tried the burrito bowls, tacos, burritos, and salads. All are excellent. They do an excellent job of keeping the lines moving here and offer take out service which is a nice time saver. If I had to choose between Chipotle and Moe’s(the closest competitor) I would choose Chipotle. The downsides of this particular Chipotle are definitely worth considering. The parking lot is way too small. I have driven into the lot on multiple occasions and after not finding a spot, headed on to the next place to get my lunch. I have to imagine there are others like me who don’t have the time to chase a parking spot when taking your lunch break. The interior here is also pretty tight — the line for food does snake through the seating area which is only annoying when they are at max capacity. There is outdoor seating in the summer which is nice. Pricing is a bit higher than a typical fast food spot, which is to be expected.

I am a huge fan of the food here. It’s delicious. Service is fast. Employees are friendly. It seems like they are genuinely paying attention to their jobs and not just going through the motions that you see at a lot of fast food joints. Only issue I have is the parking but I think that situation is purely an outcome of a very popular establishment. This place is always busy.

IGNORETHEHATERS! this can be a fabulous alternative to horrible fast food… a great chicken w veggies salad(or brown rice if u want) for under $ 10 is a total hit. This is quick, fresh ADDITIVEANDHORMONE free meats is a hit. For what it is! The staff here is out of this world, they even let a guy in front of me try three different meats/poultry before he ordered. Tbell my butt!

The bad reviews here are a shame because this a great place. The Good: The food. The food is amazing. Anyone who says Moe’s is better has gone mad, I tell you. The veggies are always fresh. The meat is largely local and organic. The meat is never over or undercooked. The salsas always taste«fresh» not like they came out of a can. The employees are friendly. Is it expensive? I guess. But considering you can eat the same burrito for lunch AND dinner it’s all justified. The Bad: I thoroughly agree that the seating here is obscenely horrible. The way the line wraps around the joint basically kills half the seating in the place. And the music is always too loud here. The Chipotles down south always have a nice volume with the music and you want to buy the Chipotle soundtrack. Here, the music is so loud you want it turned off, you can’t even appreciate the musical selection. The lines are also slow. Down south, the Mexicans whip through 2 dozen customers in minutes, throwin’ ingredients on at a remarkable pace. At this location, be prepared to wait in line. The employees here just care too much about portion size and prettiness of the burrito. If you want traditional Mexican, don’t come here. Chipotle has a large, loyal following for a ton of reasons. The food is great is foremost.

This was my first time at the Chipotle in Syracuse — and I thought it was really good. I got the chicken tacos(hard shell) and also an order of chips and guac. All in all, I thought it was a good meal at a good price. Beth F. does have an excellent point with the stools with no backs — I ended up putting my coat on the table I was eating at, taking a spot that could have been used by someone else had my coat not been there. What really shocked me was the fact that the parking lot is tiny! I had to wait for a spot to open up and when I went inside I was expecting a massive crowd but the place was only about half full. It seems like there was some very poor planning on this one — I mean this is a franchise, doesn’t the franchisor require X number of parking spots per square foot before they let the franchisee sign the lease? Anyways, I seem to be pretty much in agreement with Beth — lots of takeout was happening while we were there. On kind of a funny note — I saw quite a few people eating in their cars in the parking lot. So it seems that many people prefer the comfort of their cars over the lack of atmosphere inside. Maybe they should deliver! At least that way they could get the food out of there and not have people taking up valuable parking spots. Anyways — we will be back for sure. My daughter goes to LeMoyne so I like to catch up for lunch with her from time to time — and even though we liked Nothing But Noodles when it first opened, it spiraled downhill fast and ended up closing. Let’s hope the same thing doesn’t happen to Chipotle!

Be prepared to be a bit underwhelmed and you’ll be fine. I visited at lunch and the food was fine and the staff friendly, but the space is cramped and the lines snake awkwardly around the seating areas. There is really not a good seat in the house unless you are able to snag one of the two tables with movable chairs under the blaring speakers. They seam to be doing a good bit of take out service, which contributes to the wait(and may say something about the ambiance!). Also, since none of the seats have backs, I can’t wait to see where people are going to put their coats, hats, gloves, etc. Don’t they know this is Syracuse?
