Awesome food, better than some of the restaurants I’ve been too. The felafel, Greek salad and chicken souvlaki are some of my favorites, hard to choose since everything tastes so good and the staff is super friendly.

As far as food trucks go, this one gets all my stars!!! The shishkabobs with BBQ/Hot sauce are so good, I lick the foil clean afterwards. They are just that crack-tastic!!! Absolutely AMAZING!!! The grilled bread that accompanies it… Excellent. Everything is delicious and super fresh. I don’t think I’ve seen a cleaner food truck EVER! Also notable were the spanakopita and the Greek fries. Also the baklava was super fresh and sweet. The serving was enough for two sittings. If you are ever near the Syosset Home Depot, stop by this truck for lunch. It’s on the side street along the side of the building. You won’t be disappointed. I wish I lived closer. Or even better… I wish I could buy them a bigger truck so I could move into the back of it. :-)

Two Greeks to Go is listed as «closed» on Unilocal, and that they were in Astoria. Well, either they moved, or bought a food truck, b/c these guys park outside the Syosset Home Depot seems like every day. A pretty good food truck in an area where there are NO food trucks, and not that many good lunch options(that don’t require a drive). When I go to Home Depot, I sometimes like to get a hot dog in a pita — a simple snack. I have to try their gyro. I know, I know, how can I review Greek food w/o trying a gyro or some souvlaki. I’ve been there a few times now, I’ll be back, maybe next time I’ll get the gyro. EDIT: got the gyro, pretty good, plenty of meat. I have had fresher gyros, I’d say this one, overall, was middle-of-the-road. Worth it’s cost, I’d say. I still like Two Greeks, but I’ll have to compare them to say, It’s Greek to Me.
