We visited this hotel with family to go to the Polar Express. This hotel is about 20 minutes from Bryson City. The staff was super friendly, the hotel seemed recently renovated and we were happy with our room! Free breakfast is always a bonus and I would say it was better than most free breakfasts.
If you’re looking for a place in the area, I definitely recommend this hotel!

Have stayed here a number of times. Is starting to go down hill! Used to have jaccuci style tubs in suites. Gone… Used to have fairly comfortable chairs w/​ottoman. Gone… Not a comfortable stay anymore. Large rip in carpet, dents in wall. Will not stay here again. Bare bones. Might as well stay at cheaper hotel and be more satisfied… Used to have cookies when you checked in. Gone… Not on weekends! Lame… Priority Club member and got nothing on check-​in… Told clerk we were members. She said she would check… later. Nothing! Come on HIE, get with the program or Microtel here come!

We had no problems with our stay in this particular holiday inn. The rooms were clean and the bed were comfortable. Breakfast every morning was really nice with a great selection of cold and hot items. The two older ladies that worked the breakfast station were very nice and helpful. The only problem I could pick on would be the indoor pool. It is not heated and was pretty cold when we had two days of cloudy rainy days. The room is heated by the sun and was not very fun to swim in.

The only room they had left was a king bed suite and very impressed, clean, big clean breakfast area and friendly staff. As always they let us park the motorcycle under the covered area, that’s a +.

The staff is super friendly, helpful, and willing to work with your travel needs. It’s pretty clean but their towels (for some weird reason) leave white fuzzy lint all over you. I had white lint stuck all over my face and hair from the towels – weird. Their breakfast is decent for it being free and they keep it stocked and comin’ with hot biscuits and sausage gravy. The double queen suite was very spacious and easily could have fit much more than the 4 of us comfortably. Also, it’s only a 15 – 20 minute drive to Harrah’s Casino!
