Cute little antique shop to browse. Prices are a joke though.

Great place. Most prices along line of others. Typical antique mall set up. Found a great piece of stained, leaded piece for a great price. Had a few cracked pieces, but that was okay for me. They also have a great little café. Some great finds if you look carefully. Mmm used the word great too often. Sorry. Would have given it 5 stars had they let me use the restroom.

Tiny selection of antiques that have almost humorous prices, but they are serious… Unfortunately. Most everything else is the Chinese shabby chic variety which I have no interest in. A Lady, whom I believe is the shop owner is stuffy and pretentious. She informed me «No pets allowed under any circumstances. Not even if you try and sneak them in in a bag.» With hands on hips one foot pointed askew and major attitude. I apologized (probably with a bit of ‘tude on return) and asked her to please «Inform my wife of your pet policy). My wife was the only one in the store so I thought she would find her and tell her. As my wife strolled around the end of an isle the Store Lady informed my wife only that I was waiting outside. Understand that I respect pet policies period. It’s your store you have the right. There is no need to launch attitude across the bow at first interaction. There are plenty of friendly, fair and full places to go within a stones throw.

Picket Fence Galleries is a very unique shop. Several business owners in one store. The variety is endless. Candles, floral arrangements, women’s clothing and accessories, antiques, baby gifts, primitive art, estate jewelry and lots more. The shop also boasts a victorian tea room. Great tea and sandwiches. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable. A very unique shopping experience.
