Rode’s Catering

We had Rode’s cater our wedding at the family owned Rode’s barn– and the food was simply AMAZING. All night long we kept hearing from our guests how great the food was, especially the pulled pork which seemed to be the biggest hit of the night. Alyssa Rode was not only instrumental in assisting in the planning of the menu for our wedding, but she also helped us plan our entire wedding period. To say she is a multitasker is a huge understatement! Alyssa ran the catering perfectly. She ran the whole wedding perfectly! Her and her staff were nothing short of amazing! They were polite, helpful, willing and eager to answer any and all questions and they were fun too! It was really nice having them there. Alyssa was so wonderful and easy to talk to throughout the whole process.
The food was absolutely perfect in every way you could possibly imagine. The pulled pork and the BBQ chicken were to die for! The sides we chose were candied carrots, green beans almandine, and red skin potatoes, all of which were incredible.
If you need an event catered I highly recommend using Rode’s Catering.

First time I have ever heard of Rodes catering but my goodness was the food phenomenal. The pulled pork was great and the baked Mac & cheese was even better.

The first time that I tasted food from this place was at a kids parry about 10 years ago where they had been hired to cater. There’s a lot of crappy BBQ places out there stealing money, but this business isn’t one of them. Their smoked chicken is off the friggin hook, even without the sauce if you choose to have it on the side. Everything that they make is pretty good. I stopped in their small lunch café that’s open during the week recently for lunch and had a pretty solid meal. The special for the day was buy one side, get another for free… Win/​win. Mac and cheese was great.
I don’t get here often, but I am a fan.
