This place use to be great, however new ownership took over and it was never the same. It slowly lost all its customer and finally CLOSED.

Man am I glad I missed my turn onto 295 — this is one of the best bagels I’ve have in awhile! Disclaimer: I’m from NY but live in DC(a veritable good bagel desert). Got an everything toasted with lox spread and it was damn good. Won’t be coming back since I’m not from the area but wanted to offset the bad reviews. Service was excellent and professional. No complaints from me! :)

We’ve stopped at Commodore Coffee and Bagels a few times on our way through South Jersey, usually it’s when we’re heading to the beach. For the most part our experiences have been fine and while the bagels aren’t particularly special on their own, the sandwiches they make are usually pretty good. This review is really just to serve as a warning to look at your receipt closely. We stopped here last week on our way to Cherry Hill and I saw the cashier key in the wrong price for the items we ordered. He charged more than the large menu board said we should pay. I questioned the cashier and his response was that prices are subject to change without notice! Now I respect a business’s right to change their prices but posting a sign that the pricing can change without notice means that they can update their pricing board at any time. In this place they instead chose to leave the old prices up but key in the new — higher — prices into the register. That’s unethical and illegal and really more akin to a bait and switch. So be warned and watch closely. You may be better off asking how much everything is before you place your order. But apparently they can charge whatever they want anyway. The food is alright here but the business practices are so shady you’d do best to stop somewhere else.

Went there today for the first time and definitely my last, for one there is a small dog running around with dog toys all over the place as I sit I see the cook pick up the dog and pets it and plays with it, then goes to make an order without washing his hands YUK!!! he uses his whole hand to push the bagel down. That’s disgusting! the place needs a GOODCLEANING and the owner/employees dirty looking and not pleasant at all. Customers beware, I normally never leave neg. comment but this was truly DISGUSTING! Also correct me if I wrong having a dog in a restaurant is a violation with the health department.

Let me start by saying I am local and always try and support local businesses. My first time there was a memorable one, I stood in the empty area for minutes while the one person working completely ignored me. I finally said something. After I purchased a sandwich on a bagel, I then was informed I had to pay extra for lettuce and tomato on an already over $ 8 chicken salad bagel. The lady was very rude and I have not been back and do not plan on going back since. I will drive down the street and go to Wawa instead.

Love this place! Great sandwiches. Try the 322 and the employees remember what you like and are extremely friendly. Stop on your way to the shore to get some bagels. You won’t regret it!

Yea been here a few times, great bagels. great breakfast sandwiches, very friendly, not too big not too small. bacon cheddar cream cheese spread on a sun dried tomato bagel. or any of their bagels. parking can be tricky due to the fact they get busy in the mornings. Coffee there is good(big coffee drinker) You can sit in and dine and look at all the Phillies artifacts, posters, pictures… basically its like a shrine dedicated to the Phightins! Big bagels, fresh theses guys know how to do up breakfast right for a family owned joint. They don’t accept credit cards but theyu do have an ATM

I went there for my 1st time last month. Bagel was average, and couldn’t get a latte because their machine was broken. Coffee was self serve.

My fiancé and I stopped here this past weekend for the first time, after driving by frequently on our way to visit my parents. He was actually very excited that they were open, because he’s wanted to stop there for quite some time. We both ordered bacon, egg, and cheeses on plain bagels. He enjoyed his very much, but I didn’t think it was anything all that special. The bagel itself seemed a little stale, which was rather off-putting. The woman at the cash register was nice and we only had to wait six or seven minutes for our food, which we took to go. The décor(Phillies memorabilia) is interesting to look at, and the«T.Hanks» sign on the trashcan amused me. I would go back, but perhaps order my breakfast sandwich on something besides a bagel.

This place is located right next to the Commodore Barry Bridge and is a great place to grab a quick breakfast on the go. Inside is decorated to look like someones kitchen(the owner obviously like pigs and has pig figurines on every shelf). The food is great. I had an egg and cheese sandwich on a sun dried tomato bagel. What I loved is that they crack and egg on the grill and fry it up. And as Luke(my b/f)described it: «It is in no way similar to the slab of egg that you get at a Dunkin Donuts». This egg has all the qualities of being homemade.
