My wife and I go here all the time. The staff is friendly and it is the definition of good home cooking. We love to come here for breakfast as much as we can. Prices and quality of food will keep you coming back!

I stopped by for lunch today and was truly disappointed with the quality of their food. I picked their special thinking it would be a good choice since it was a special. I was completely wrong. The New England clam chowder was like paste. It tasted bland and like flour. My Main course was fried flounder. It came out breaded and difficult to find any flounder. Enough said about my lunch. I would not eat at this establishment again.

I saw that they won best crab cake as voted on by Delco Times readers so I had to try a sandwich. My buddy got one to go and gave me half. I’m amazed this was recognized as best. I found mostly filler and very little crab. A HUGE disappointment. Occasionally Yours’s crab cake on first Friday blows this out of the water — big chunks of fresh lump crab with very little Panko breadcrumbs to bind it together. The problem is it’s only available once a month. I’ll be trying Frankies On Fairview next since they came in as the best of the rest.

My family hosted our rehearsal brunch the day before my wedding at Antonia’s. From the beginning, Antonia was incredibly nice and accommodating to me and my family. She went above and beyond to make the day really special for us. I visited ahead of time and had breakfast with my dad and the food was awesome. On the day of the rehearsal, I was a little too nervous to really eat, but everyone enjoyed themselves. The staff was amazing and the food came out really fast considering they took almost 30 orders. I would highly recommend this for any brunch outing or a special occasion.

A decent restaurant place. If you go early, you can be entertained by the local regulars.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in. There was a distinct smell-like a nursing home smell. Waitress took our order, food came in timely manner. My husband ordered breakfast. He ordered bacon was given sausage. The food was just so so, nothing outstanding.

My husband, daughter, and I went to Antonia’s this past Mother’s Day for breakfast. I made a reservation ahead of time to ensure our being seated in a relatively timely manner on such a busy day. When we arrived the place was hopping and there were even more people waiting outside for tables. The place is very large inside and clean. We waited about 10 minutes for our table. I ordered the corned beef hash and cheese omelet with a side of bacon. My daughter ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and my husband ordered the red, white and blue french toast(strawberries, blueberries and banana with whipped cream). My corned beef and cheese omelet was absolutely delicious. I am drooling even thinking about it. The bacon was perfectly cooked and deliciously crisp. I tried my daughter’s chocolate chip pancake and even ended up finishing her leftovers later in the day. It was so fluffy and filled with chocolate it felt sinful even eating it as a breakfast food. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his french toast too. It was a wonderful breakfast and we will all definitely be back again.

Great find. I’m always saying there are not enough breakfast options in Delco so it was great to come across this place. Food was pretty good. I think it just needs a really good cleaning. The back of the restaurant, towards the bathroom area is kind of unsightly. But the staff is super nice and on top of it. And again, the food is pretty average, what you’d expect for breakfast kind of place.

They have more omelette choices than I’ve ever seen! Server Antonia was SO personable and energetic! She was fabulous, and made us feel welcome. The food was really good too!!! The only oddity was that there was absolutely no diversity in patronage or staff. Hmmmmm? We were there for almost an hour, and all we saw in the restaurant were Caucasian people. I wonder why that was… We were in the area from out of town. Came here ONLY because of the Unilocal reviews. I read other reviews and discovered that Antonia is not a waitress, she’s the owner!!! Way to go my dear! You got it goin on! Keep up the great work.

Somebody call Gordon Ramsey, because this place was a nightmare. Let me lay some context out there for you: My family and I went here for dinner on a whim. This seems important because all of the other reviews are for breakfast. Walking in we noticed that there were only 2 tables of elderly seated. This seemed strange given it was 6:45 at night. My wife wanted to leave, but I have a pioneer spirit and was determined to press on. Lets jump right in to some of the highlights. My wife’s pasta had a very large piece of plastic in it. I thought it was from a bag of shredded cheese, she thinks from a bag of sauce, who’s to say who was right? The biggest issue was that my two year old’s meatballs were raw, I mean really really raw. Almost at the level of WWE’s Monday night raw. I think you get the point. This goes beyond annoyance and is straight dangerous. To be fair it wasn’t all bad. I’m adding a star because the server was very accommodating and took my sons meal off the bill. Also, my pasta carbonara was really good. Seems like breakfast is in and Dinner is most definitely out.

Been going to this place for about eleven years now, mostly for breakfast, though I’ve also begun visiting for lunch, on occasion. It’s a great example of the«Nothing Fancy» principle: if you want high class, expensive, three-baby-carrots-and-a sprig-of-Indonesian-mint-on-a-plate cusine, well, there are TV shows on the Travel Channel for that nonsense. If you want solid quality, neighborhood restaurant familiar meals, lightning fast service, all at prices that would allow most anyone to eat there anytime and everytime they get a nosh, then Antonia’s Family Restaurant is where you want to strap on the ol’ feedbag. Family owned for decades and recently passed into the hands of the pixie-like, hyper-animated daughter Antonia(ann-tow-NEE-ah), this place will surprise you. Neat, clean, big-but-still-small and comfortable, with breakfast, lunch and dinner menus that offer everyone something that meets their tastes. For a real show, go for early morning breakfast when Antonia herself is working the floor. The entire staff is a hoot, but Antonia will make even the most active people feel like slackers. An itty-bitty bundle of barely contained energy and positive attitude, she will jumpstart your day with a great breakfast of your choosing and energetic, friendly conversation.(If you want to avoid the breakfast crowds on weekends, show up before 8:30am or thereabouts — it does get really busy.) For breakfast, I’m a fan of their egg wraps, but the pancakes are also very hard to beat. Lunchtime, you got all the classics, but the Jumbo Burgers and steak-style fries are killer. While I haven’t been there for dinner, I’ve heard great things about the new chef and his food — it’s BYOB, if you’re so inclined. It can be a little hard to find, but here’s a tip: fire up your web-attached technological device of choice, go to GOOGLE and search for«Antonia’s Family Restaurant». As long as The Goog knows where you’re located(as it always seems to know … hmmm, should I be worried ?), you’ll get a box on the page with everything you need to find the restaurant, along with its website( ). So … hungry yet?

My husband and I stumbled onto Antonia’s by accident one morning, and I’m glad of it. My eggs benedict was perfect – super runny poached eggs, as they should be. I shouldn’t be that excited, but it’s next to impossible to find a diner that does a poached egg that isn’t totally overcooked. Service was fantastic, too.

So I have lived very close to this place for years but never went in as it did not have the best reputation. The family shut the place down, took a couple of weeks to redecorate, revamp the menu, and relaunch under the new name of Antonia’s. A few good reviews by a few Unilocal friends, and I was willing to give it a go. The place still reflects the Greek roots of the owners. I was here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to have no problem getting a table or parking at 9 am on a Saturday. The place has plenty of seating and there was even a group of older folks occupying a table for 14. There were plenty of tables occupied by couples and families with children. There are white marble finishes, the requisite columns, and granite topped tables and counter. We went for the 222 Special — 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 slices of bacon, with home fries and toast for $ 5.95. Coffee is $ 1.50. The eggs were perfectly cooked over easy and appeared to have been fried in butter. The sausage and bacon were also perfectly done. The bacon was a bit better than the typical diner quality and nice and crispy, with no hint of blackness. You have your choice of white, wheat, or rye toast. There is a $ 1.00 up charge for an English muffin. Coffee was good and fresh. Plates are hard plastic; mugs are ceramic. Jelly is grape. Typical diner stuff. Service here was super pleasant but also good. Everyone was happy to be working here or at least appeared so. Pay at the counter and you have had plenty of coffee refills. No rush to leave or hustle you through.

Went here for dinner with high hopes. Love that it is a BYOB. Lots of good reviews. The restaurant from what I gather was recently renovated and it is nicely done. The storefront definitely does not do it justice. It is nicely laid out, has a warm feeling, the staff is very friendly. It has a large dining area and a counter. That being said, we were very disappointed with dinner. We ordered eggplant parm and chicken vodka. The dinners came with salads and garlic cheese bread which were both very good. The dinners were large portions but were not good. Lack or taste or tasted more like frozen dinners or something from a place like Applebee’s or Benigans(remember those?) — not a good taste, like premaid or microwaved dinners. Not fresh or homemade. Very disappointing. Good points: nice atmosphere; BYOB; fast service, friendly and prices were excellent — dinner for two about $ 26(salad, bread, entrée). Efficient and pleasant staff I get the feeling this is more of a breakfast and lunch place. I would like to try breakfast here but won’t do dinner again. Will write an update after we try it again. Three stars instead of two(food) because it was cute and the staff were great. Back end and bathrooms could have been cleaner. Dinner entrees/fare definitely would not bring me back but like the place enough to try for breakfast.

What a pleasant surprise! We were in the area and HUNGARY for some brunch, glad I picked this place. Very modern and the staff is super friendly. You could tell there was a lot of regulars which gives it such a friendly feel even tho we aren’t from the immediate area. The cream chipped beef is solid as in the french toast. You will be pleasantly surprised especially because a lot of breakfast places are gross, but this is as clean as you could hope for. TRYIT!!!

This place keeps getting better and better They know me and what I like. I suspect its the same for all their customers. You are treated like family and you are number 1 here. Tonight it was HAMANDCABBAGE. Very hard to find on any day not in March. They now call me when its on the menu that night. Doesn’t get any better than this in DELCO In the comfort food realm.

Newly redone inside when daughter took over the family business. Antonia flys all over making sure everything is going well. Food is still Greekish, but lots more than that. Great when you want an inexpensive dinner with no fuss or a great Sunday Brunch without breaking the bank.
