I had an emergency, and it had been a while since I’ve been to the dentist. It’s not one of those fun things you like to do, you know? As I walked in to the office, it’s a nice, little house remodeled like many of the older dentist offices. The office manager, Linda, was super, super nice, and I explained my problem. She offered to get me in that afternoon, gave me the paperwork I needed to fill out and bring back, and I left. When I came back, I was put in the chair. It’s not the fanciest place out there– basic dental chair, etc, but it was comfortable. Dr. Miller came in, and she looked at the problem. It was going to take a few visits to fix my tooth, so she started on the part she could do today. Dr. Miller was very nice, and we talked about where she was from and, what I really enjoyed, was she asked about me and my history. That’s a great plus. We laughed and talked through the procedure, and when I was finished and making the next appointment, the secretary talked through the insurance and what I would be responsible for the next time– they took care of all the insurance stuff– no muss or fuss– and I appreciate that, since that is pretty confusing for me to figure out. I really enjoyed the experience, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist in the Swansea, Il area.
