Purchased a curio cabinet that was a floor model. It was lit in the showroom the two times I visited the store. The day I purchased it I called ahead and the woman at the front desk wanted to know when I’d be coming in so someone could get it prepped for me. When I arrived they had all the shelves removed and it was on a hand truck. I get it home and notice there is no light bulb. Ok, no problem. I put one in and look for where it gets turned on and can’t find any way to turn on the light. The canister itself was removable. There is no switch to be found. Thought it might be a touch type, but nothing. I call the store to ask and at first the woman played it off as if something must have happened after it left the store or that I don’t know how to install a fresh light bulb. Then I speak to the owner’s son the following day and he also wasn’t forthcoming with help. Then I asked how did you turn on/off the light when you had it in the store and he said he couldn’t remember how it turned on. I told him the electrical cord had a small section on one side missing out of it so maybe that’s where the switch should have been and that’s why there’s no way to turn it on or there’s not a complete electrical connection. That got a defensive response that it wasn’t possible the switch came off. So after sending pictures to prove everything I told them, they never responded or offered a solution. I live 30 mins away and it’s not worth driving back to get lame excuses. Poor customer service as far as I’m concerned.
