Berni’s on West Main

I was in town for a meeting and we heard Berni’s was good. They had a small but nice selection of bears, wine and mixed drinks. The white tablecloth décor was a little more upscale than we expected, but we ate outside which was pleasant, but decidedly much more casual. We started with a crab spread appetizer which was tasty, but filling, so I ordered a citrus salad for my main course. It was good with Kiwi, orange slices and nicely marinated chicken. The dressing which came with was light and served on the side. My friend got a stuffed salmon special which was very good, and Very generous. The salmon was not overcooked. Overall, a good experience. Our server was waiting on tables inside, so we didn’t see her much, but we weren’t lacking anything and she did apologize.

The food was delicious and the waiters were friendly. The atmosphere was very nice and the restaurant was cute. I would recommend the Sea Bass or the Atlantic Salmon. (All other dishes were good as well)
