Old Atlanta Park Recreation Center

I haven’t seen this whole rec center yet, but we did go to the Sprayground last weekend when it opened and I loved it! It’s not the biggest, but it was very clean and had a lot of seating for adults. It is $ 2 per person, planning to go in the water… so if you are parent sitting on the sidelines, you don’t have to pay.
There is ample parking, and it wasn’t crowded, but I would assume as it gets hotter, it will get busier. I am so happy I found this and I will definitely be back with my son to check it out more!

Was looking for a place to play basketball for the winter, nice indoor courts. Weight room isn’t amazing, but it’s still nice. Friendly staff and very clean facilities.

What a gem (or maybe, gym) in south Forsyth County! Located near the new Lambert High School complex, the facility has two indoor basketball courts, indoor walking trail, classrooms for arts, crafts, and popular education, a weights and fitness center, cardio classes, outdoor water park, a nature trail, and picnic pavilion. Wife and I were traveling 20 miles round trip for Silver Sneakers sessions, which equals $ 12 in gas a week. For the Senior citizens rate of $ 60 a year apiece, we have unlimited access to the weights & cardio room. Hours are 7am — 9pm weekdays, open Saturdays 8am– 6pm, and Sundays 1pm-​6pm. You get a Scan card upon joining. It is brand new and super clean. Non-​Forsyth County residents pay a 20% surcharge.
