SLEEPIN For a comfort inn this place was pricey but considering it was the last room in the hotel I totally understand. There was a boys basketball tournament going on(not the reason I was here) which was really annoying at breakfast time. The boys were just sitting at the breakfast tables even after they were done eating. The coaches should have moved them to the lobby because other hotel guests had no place to eat. Luckily I was able to grab a table for my party of three. My two coworkers were impressed because they were standing eating breakfast when I arrived to join them. While we were sitting there one of the boys decide to play rap music on his phone with no regard to the other hotel guests. It makes me sad that this common core of respect has been lost and the future worries me. At check in I was greeted by a very happy employee who was multitasking. He was able to grab me a room even though I had arrived early. That made me happy. Unfortunately the only room available was outside the elevator door and facing the highway. No wonder that room was available. Those are two things I always make sure I don’t have when selecting a room. I knew I wasn’t going to be able to get another room so I sucked it up. If you do stay here just remember that half the hotel faces the highway. You don’t want that side unless you love listening to semi trucks downshifting the whole time and the noise of racing cars. The workout room is a total joke. I have not seen a workout room this bad in a long time. The treadmill key is located at the front desk which most hotels just leave in the gym. I’m even sorry I went to get the key because the treadmill had a vibration to the motor that just shook through my legs and when I went to start running the belt would just stop & stick. This is really dangerous for a runner. I moved over to ride the sit down bike. I started pedaling but then realized I couldn’t even add any resistance. My last hope was the stand up bike but there wasn’t much luck there. This wobbly bike with no resistance was a death trap. In other words the workout room sucked. They shouldn’t even have this room if they aren’t going to put serious equipment in it that actually works. There is a business center here and when I checked in I was told I could use it. I had to print out a document but I couldn’t get the printer to print. I tried adding the printer myself but the computer could not see it. I went to the front desk and was informed that there was a virus on the computer and that the front desk could print for me. This is the same person who told me I could use the business center when I checked in. Maybe a little warning about the virus would have been nice. In fact, when I went to sign into my email it asked me to update my credit card info which I didn’t do because I never fall for that computer hacker BS. I’m so glad that my instincts kicked in plus I checked my email on my phone and it was running smoothly. I just wish the front desk would have warned me about the virus. They should have never said, «Go use our business center!» while knowing that there was an issue with the computer. The room was comfy but the remote control on the tv would only allow me to change channels. So if I wanted it on or off I had to actually get up including if I had to change the volume. I don’t miss the old days. Luckily I was able to figure out how to navigate manually to the menu in order to turn on the SLEEP feature at 1am. I love this feature on TVs in hotels because it helps me fall asleep. I must also give high marks to the lady running the breakfast. She kept everything in stock even though there were a ton of athletic teenage boys hanging around eating. Seating was really hard to find in the morning but the food remained fully stocked. I’ve been at hotels before where the breakfast person couldn’t even keep up, so I was happy with the job she was doing. Would I ever stay here again? Nope! I really hope I never have to ever stay here again. The only reason we were here was because it was close to our work and we didn’t have many other options available. I wouldn’t put this place high on my hotel list because of the noisy room, buggy business center & the broken down workout room. Those are some things that are hard to over look.

The rooms are good and what’s expected from a hotel at this price. My only problem is I noticed ever seal on the door is crappy, so I checked if I could break into my room. It took seconds and on the doors next to mine it took nothing a five year old could figure it out. This unacceptable as security should be the ultimate factor for customers. If it is fixed I’d recommend them but this is a ridiculous flaw

Bed was comfortable but we booked a king and got two queens instead. It’s noisy being by the interstate. The breakfast is awful! It was frozen and when asked the girl about a microwave she said«don’t you have one in your room?» So we had to make two trips back and forth. Pool is only 3 and a half feet deep and a lot smaller then it looked in the pics. Won’t be back.

Fairly decent hotel. A bit difficult to get to. If you’re coming off I-85 north, you have to U-turn at Horizon drive and come back to turn on Celebration. Traffic in this area is always heavy, so be prepared. The hotel is located down the hill behind the Comfort Inn. Service was good. Price was okay — normal rate is high for this hotel, in my opinion, but I caught a sale which put it into a more appropriate category. Free wifi(although it’s pretty slow — speedtest showed 1mb down). Free breakfast in the morning is decent. Be aware, this hotel backs up to the Interstate. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs, because road noise is audible in the rooms(at least those on the back side of the hotel).

Booked this hotel instead of another because it was pet friendly and pics on the hotel website showed nice looking rooms. Not impressed at all. The bed was comfortable but that’s about it for the good. Difficult to get from interstate. You have to go up the road and make a U-turn, sometimes waiting 2 – 3 green light cycles before you get to the intersection depending on traffic. Carpet old, torn up, and stained. Bathroom door had some nasty stains on it. Thin, well worn towels. Ancient microwave. Booked a non-smoking room but as soon as you walk in the room you can smell that it used to be a smoking room. Desk supposed to be open 24 hrs and breakfast served 6−9am daily. Went to get some food at 6:20am and lobby was locked up and no signs of breakfast being served or anyone working. Stay elsewhere!
