The Custard Stand

My milkshake was hotter than my hot dog. The place was busy and had to wait. The couple in front of me got comped ice cream for having to wait. I didn’t even get a «sorry about the wait». As I said before the dog was cold and and the service was bad.

Hotdog was good BUT its a hotdog. ptetty hard to F THAT UP!!!
Thr large fries were COLD AND TASTED LIKE FISH.
So I ate the hotdog and left… most likely will not return not really my type of place to eat when on the road

They are lying! No custard at the ‘Custard Stand’… It’s soft serve ice cream.
The burger was fresh made and so are the fries… Not fresh cut real fries but still were good. The famous hot dog chili wasn’t all that to me nor the cheese product sauce. Still, I’ve had worse burger and fries; but the lie about the custard is unforgivable!

Lots of soft serve options and looked like a classic local spot.
Sorry all we had was ice cream but everyone seemed to be ordering the chili.
We enjoyed our visit and would come back again.

So I was initially attracted to this place by the multitude of soft serve flavors.
I saunter in and start looking at the flavor choices. I think there’s like 24 or more, so it took a minute to pick something out, so the younger girl working there says «just let me know when you are ready to order» and walks over to start pouring cream into the ice cream machine. Less than a minute later, I’m read to order, and stand by her to get her attention, but she just keeps pouring that cream. Like 3 – 4 minutes later, she finally walks past me to the register, and then asks the two people that came in behind me what they’d like to order. Luckily they were nice enough to say «uh, I think he was here first». Thanks nice people!
So I ordered some teaberry softserve (they can’t do large, only small). Eh, it was just OK. Looks like they mix in some kind of syrup to get the flavor, and it’s pretty faint.
Ice cream 3, service 1… 2 BAM!
