I love this place! If you need a stop midway on your way up or down I-​5 in Oregon, this is the perfect place to browse a good selection of used books, sip some yummy Allan Bros coffee, and enjoy quiet music in a comfy chair.
Lots of parking off street. Prices are super reasonable, and there’s free wifi.
Say hi to the proprietor, Cheryl. She’s very nice. Of course!

This is a new discovery for me in Sutherlin. It’s only a mile off the freeway on Central Ave. (the main street through town) with lots of parking so if you are looking for a place to sit inside, on comfortable furniture, with classical music playing softly to enjoy a great cup of coffee or tea, take the time to sit and enjoy. Of course, lots of used books to explore too. The prices for the coffee drinks are about 25% under the competition and the quality of the drinks are not diminished. I try to visit whenever I can. On the other hand, if you just want «drive-​up coffee», you’ll pass THREE drive-​up coffee stands while driving the mile to the Books Gallery.
