I would give zero stars if it was a choice ! Let me start with YES I AM a member! My friend ordered 3 shots but then he just walked out to SMOKE… The bartender accused him of dodging his bill, so I paid BUT the total was $ 45. Could someone please explain HOW 3 shots is $ 45??? RIDICULOUS!!!

The absolute best. We still talk about our times here from over 5 years ago. Anyone that doesn’t give this place 5 stars is a nut job. I can’t wait to go back!

A few of my girlfriends and I went here one night and the people were so rude! We all walked in and the bartender was a jerk to us. When we asked if one of our friends who was under 21 could come in since there were 10 people of age to drink and he said «no but the place next door does»… Low and behold the place was an arcade. Also have to pay a membership charge? I have never in my entire life.

What an experience. I went here twice. It was fun and exactly what you’d expect.
In short, this is a double wide trailer that manages to squeeze in a band, a bar, a pool table, two bathrooms, and a bunch of people. I didn’t have any of the mixed drinks. I drank beer instead. The selection was surprisingly large and inexpensive. (The higher-​end beers cost $ 3.50.) Nothing is on tap — but what can you expect in a trailer.
One night I went, they had karaōke, which was fun. And the other night, they had a band. Most of the music was southern, country stuff.

Nothing fancy but lots of fun. Ice cold beer and entertaining people. A must see when staying in Topsail.

Once is enough. Place should be named «Trailer Trash Bar». The people who go here stretch the boundary of human behavior. Most drunk, most smoking. Even the owner was drunk. He accosted my stepdaughter and accused her of bringing a beer with her on the his porch. He claim was his establishment did not sell beer in cans just bottles.
We thought this redneck was joking, but he was actually getting belligerent.
If you don’t understand some of these words you are most likely a regular patron.
The most amusing part is when the owner came up to us I asked him if he was a Marshall/​sheriff and he replied yes. I asked him to produce a badge. Anyway one of his employees drove this drunk home. The local authorities can get their monthly quota of DUI’s in a night at this slum.
Pathetic excuse for a bar and may represent the demographics of Surf City and Topsail Island.

This is actually a fun bar. It’s low key and not very loud. So if you’re looking for a club type bar then look elsewhere. Our bartender was very sweet and accommodated us the best she could. They didn’t have some of the beer they had listed in stock, but they had others. They have a couple of tv’s and a pool table. One night they had someone singing and playing guitar. Overall we really enjoyed this place, so much so we went there 2 nights in a row!

Not sure where to start. Walked in and immediately got swarmed by 2 local knuckleheads. Both were drunk beyond belief and were putting there hands on me, not aggressively but just too much for a bar. They were brothers and followed us around most of the night. I was with my wife so definately concerned. So other than that, bar is good, bartenders were great, drinks were diesel and saw a lot of normal folks checking the place out. Private bar where you have to pay a buck to join. Others very friendly, Thursday 2 dollar domestics. Definately go with a group and not alone.

It is exactly what it says it is … A bar that is a trailer. They had a band but it started to rain so everyone piled inside and it got tight. The male staff was friendlier than the female staff members but didn’t have a bad experience. Drinks were about average prices. I did like the custom ceiling tiles but we were about 30 years too young for the crowd. We left after one drink.

An interesting place to say the least. My friends had passed this bar on the way to the beach house we were staying at. Just hearing the name intrigued us all. After a long day on the beach we decided to go out and celebrate my birthday and this sounded like the perfect place.
This bar is true to it’s name, It is in a single wide trailer with a large deck outside. In front of the bar is parked their trucked dubbed the «trailer trash truck». We of course had to take a picture with that one. When you walk in the first thing you notice of course is how small it is. Though it’s not big they still manage to fit a pool table and a band in it. They have added a small addition in order to accommodate the bar and people can just barely fit around it.
The drinks are reasonably priced. $ 2 PBR’s and nothing too expensive. It cracked me up that the shots came in small paper cups. Truly trailer. The band was fun. I also liked looking at the ceiling tiles which people had painted up. I was curious how much it was to buy one of those.
All in all this place was an experience and I would recommend it for anyone looking for something fun to do off the beach.

Fun, small local bar! Brought my friends who were visiting from out of town and they also loved it!
It’s a trailer… so what you see is what you get! Friendly people, great times, and awesome jukebox. You’ll meet locals, tourists and military folks. Drink some beers/​wine and shots (the PayDay shot is pretty good) and skip the mixed drinks. Buy the $ 7 coaster. Worth it! You’ll remember this place for years to come!

This place is fun until men put their balls on your table and the police take their side. I love Megan the bartender but the police disappoint me. The only person I trust there is Megan. They need cameras outside to protect their women patrons. Don’t ever go there unless you are ready to be sexually harassed.

Two words: as advertised.
The Trailer Bar is in a trailer. Upon entering, you will (assuming you go at the right time) see a trailer full of Southerners, drinking beers, playing the jukebox, and having fun. We went on a Saturday and the wait for the bar in the center of the joint was 2 – 3 deep.
I ordered the Trailer Trash specialty drink (the far wall has a list of all the liquor they serve and their prices – I didn’t see this until after I ordered, so make sure to look behind you if you want some guidance!). It was $ 6, served to me in a plastic cup, and tasted a little like a sex on the beach. Delicious. I could have pretty easily gotten… trashed… on it if I had kept ordering them.
As Miss P. mentioned, this is a great bar for local flavor, so give it a try even if it doesn’t sound like «your thing.»

We drove by, it looked awesome. Made a mental note to go back. Obviously if there is a bar in a trailer, you go. End of story.
If only it were that easy, that is just where the story began. Captain Sax was there spittin some mean karaōke game and the best friend and I had to ditch the dead weight (the husband and boyfriend) and hang at this place Hans SOLO.
Had a killer time with cheap drinks, lots of laughs and some very entertaining locals. We left the bar soon after Captain Sax left (the juke box was not really providing enough musical entertainment for our taste).
Overall, I had pretty much exactly the experience I was hoping for, except for the guy that let out and SBD and nearly cleared the place out. Not to worry though, my friend and I were happy to point him out and let everyone know exactly where the stench was wafting from.

Great place to grab a beer after a long day at the beach. The outdoor area is a great place to sit and meet people and just enjoy the sun. Staff is very friendly and the drinks are pretty cheap.
