Tried it out for the first time today with my baby girl. Came in for a late breakfast, luckily they serve breakfast all day! I had the Egg, Sausage, and Cheese on a Roll, and ordered one pancake for her. We decided to eat upstairs and the young lady at the register said she’d bring it up when it was ready (it was super cute up there) Food was soooo good! Fresh and delicious!
You can get a little overwhelmed as a first timer because everything looks and sounds so good, you don’t know what to pick (ordering is done at the register) I made sure to take a menu home to study what I want for next time, definitely going back to try some more.

Wonderful. Knishes! Tongue sandwich! Sour pickles (ask for the secret stash, not what’s in the case)! What a find. Upstairs, very ample seating.

Great sandwiches! Excellent service! Super friendly staff! I ordered the Italian hero and all the ingredients were super fresh. The meats and cheeses were awesome. My wife had the egg salad and said it was excellent!

Great little deli, one of the best assets in Surf City.
Lots of the restaurants cater to being fast tourist trap type places but these guys don’t they know they have local love of food as well. I am happy to found somewhere where they don’t expect to just slap something on a plate and over charge.
Brunch is reasonable, this place is always busy when we are there. Breakfast is ok.

OMG!!! This place is the real deal!!! We had a potato knish and brought home coleslaw and potato salad. It’s New York all right my husband can tell you that.

Let me start by saying that my brother never, never eats out. He cooks his own meals. So, when I visit him, we just enjoy the beach and cook in. This time, he mentioned this deli to me and said he wanted to go… again. I was surprise that he even went there at all. Of course I said yes, just to get out. He said that this is the closest you can get to NY deli style food. Let me tell you that it IS NY deli food. OMG. I had the pastrami on rye, he had the corn beef. Huge, thick, tasty, mouth watering, pickle, fries, oh my! It has been years since I had life changing event in my food. This was it. The meat was very very, lean, no fat. The Rye bread was true Rye bread. Very nice place with an upstairs seating area as well as at ground level. Slightly costly, but who cares! Can’t wait to visit my brother again. Guess where I will stop first, maybe on the way to my brothers and then the next day when we both can go.

Been coming here for three summers now. Amazing food all around.
Authentic NY deli options and a great all-​day breakfast menu. I had the breakfast sandwich on a fresh toasted roll. Wow. We also tried the french toast and it was perfect! Not too soggy and just the right amount of sweetness. Also recommend the tomato-​cucumber salad as a side with lunch. So good. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Nice big sandwiches and a lot of variety of options. The sides are delicious and taste fresh — cucumber salad is one I liked a lot. Usually flies around the outside patio and a wait, but that just kind of comes with the area and having an outdoor eating space. Kind of pricey for sandwiches, but I think it’s well worth it.

One of our favorite places for deli style food on the island. Nothin fancy but just good food. Friendly young staff and good pastrami or corned beef. Breakfast sandwiches will fill you up.

Love this restaurant! We had the turkey club, and it was huge, filling, and tasty! They have a ton of options. I will say that their pricing was a little confusing. But they had great food. Also, their cheesecake slices are perfect for sharing.
The last day we were in the area, we stopped here for breakfast. My wife got the French toast which was amazing! I had their yummy pancakes! It was a great breakfast.
They also have fresh-​made pretzels. I love pretzels. I asked for light salt, but did not get it. Not a big deal since it’s easy to wipe it off. Overall, a great place to eat. Beware… they close at 4.

Love this place it is nice to know that there is someone around here that knows how to make an Italian sub. I do not mean the so-​called subs from several of the places here that slap bologna and American cheese with some cheap deli ham and call this an Italian hoagie. This place is legit; from there eggplant parmesan to their fresh deli subs there is no other deli close to this kind in the Wilmington area. They are only open until 4 but that is ok.

As soon as we walked in my husband’s inner child came out because apparently they had an orange cream soda that he use to drink in New York. Other than that very important detail, the place was great. The service, menu, and our food were all fantastic. The only negative I can think of is that they close at 4 pm and this is the only reason it had taken us a while to visit. We both work later than that. All in all a great little gem and a we will definitely be going back.
