Where are local and we love their pizza we ordered at least once a month get the pizza and the sandwiches and salads

The pizza is very average. I’d prefer a pizza from a chain restaurant. The toppings were good, but the sauce and the crust is just so-​so. I’m not sure that I would get it again.

New to the area and LOVE the food here! I’ve had Domino’s a few times and wanted to try something different. This is definitely more expensive, BUT the menu is excellent, with many more offerings! The chicken roll is pretty good, and the pizza and salad and Motz sticks are delicious. Also, delivery was quick, faster than I expected, and the guy was great. I’m happily stuffed.

Very good. Best local NY style pizza in the local area. You have to go to Wilmington to find something better.

I love brick oven pizza. They didn’t disappoint.

Pizza was great. Order of 2wings was fried to death. Bit into one and it was so hard I thought I’d broken a tooth! Will not get wings or recommend them.

Love this place, their pizza is great. Every time I’m down in Surf City I try to snag one. They deliver to Surf City, not Topsail/​N Topsail. This came be a life saver as your trying to wash little kids after coming back from the beach and get dinner at the same time.
WISH … Wish they had subs. While they do, not a traditional turkey or ham sub.

Great pizza at a reasonable price. Visiting on vacation and had the pizza twice. Eating fresh at the storefront was way better than take out (our fault).

My husband and I ordered a pizza and a Stromboli for delivery. The pizza was fair, not great. The Stromboli was cooked about a fingernail’s thickness on the outside, and the rest of the dough was over an inch all around of gooey completely uncooked dough. At first, I thought it was just some of the cheese, until I ate some and felt the texture and salty, yeasty flavor. We threw it out that night. I felt fine that evening, but the next morning my stomach was bloated and hurt (a lot) from eating raw yeast dough.

Having grown up on Long Island I’m pretty hard to please when it comes to NC pizza. JT’s has quite possibly THE best pizza I’ve had in my 23 years of living in NC. We’ve only had the pizza so I can’t comment on the rest of their menu and the pizza is so good I doubt I’ll ever be able to! If you are in the Topsail area, there is no better option to satisfy your pizza craving than JT’s. Ambience is on par with the standard NY pizza joints I grew up with complete with thin paper plates and even thinner napkins. (Ahh, the memories!!) Its basically a take-​out place with a few tables you can use if you want to eat there while your pizza cheese is still bubbling. Awesome pie that’s not to be missed!

My husband and I were looking for take-​out since our condo has an ocean view; we decided to try JT’s after finding out Long Island was closed on Sundays.
We ordered a large pepperoni, sausage, and banana peppers pizza, sweet and spicy wings, and fries to go.
The pizza and wings were delicious. The pizza had a great blend of sauce, cheese and toppings (my husband could only eat one piece because it was so big– 8 slices per large). The only other time he has ever only eaten one slice of pizza was in NYC. The wings were good-​sized, cooked just right (not dry at all– tender and meaty on the inside), and plenty of sauce. The sweet and spicy is delicious and really spicy– not so much barbecue, almost more of a General Tso’s sauce. I could only eat 3 (they give you 8). You can order a half-​size, but I wasn’t sure how big the wings would be, so I ordered a full order.
The fries were skinny and crisp with a light but flavorful seasoning on them; again, a really large portion (which worked since we shared).
The location is in a strip with a grocery store and I view it as a take-​out place even though you could eat in– it’s not a place you go for ambience (I saw other reviewers shot it down for that). We ordered our food and waited at an outside table and took it with us.
The server was very helpful and kind; she helped me talk through the different wing flavors so I could choose the right one and I was very happy.
We will definitely order from them again. The only reason for the 4 rather than a 5 is that I would only do take-​out.
We don’t usually take time to write reviews, but after this meal experience, we knew we had to. Give it a try!

After a long day of driving, my family and I were looking for a pizza place to grab a pizza to take to our hotel room. Found this place on Unilocal,thought it looked good. Ordered a pizza to go, had a thirty minute wait, which is pretty average. We came back after maybe 20 minutes and our large, plain cheese pizza was ready.
By the time we were able to eat, the pizza was cold, but still very good. I like a pizza that still retains a good taste when cold! Sauce had an amazing taste, crust was nice and thin. Everyone in the shop was friendly. If I return to Topsail I will be sure to have a meal here!

JT’s is solid. Especially for Hampstead, after some terrible pizza places. The pizza is tasty, the price is right and the service is great. Their lunch special, two slices and a drink is great. Their Italian sausage is good as well.
Folks who complain about JT’s probably complain about getting checks in the mail. This place is money man.

Soggy. Overpriced, disappointing pizza. Big portion sizes but tasteless. Ingredients taste like they are out of a can. That’s right, canned mushrooms. Pewyuck! The cheese is also waxy. I don’t usually support franchises but honestly. Order dominos before considering going here

Great tasting homemade pizza, go in for a slice, or an entire pizza… the calzones are bomb as well! Did not try them yet, but I’m going back for their garlic knots!
It has about 8 tables that seat 2 – 4 people indoors and 2 outdoor tables, and a TV. Take-​out and delivery are other options as well!

I’d had a slice of pizza at nearly every place in the greater Wilmington area, and I think JT might have the best NY style slice. 2 slices and a drink for 5.25 is a deal that can’t be beat. I’m up in NYC a few times a year and this is the genuine article here folks. The service is always good, and the ambience is always just what you’d expect from a little pizza place, a tv quietly playing in the background and chatter between the locals and the folks behind the counter. Any lower scored reviews are from those sorts of folks who just don’t like the good things in life. They complain when something is on sale for a great price, they hate it when the weather is nice outside, and they’re miserable when other folks like something good.

Not sure what everyone is hyping this place about, but the other Elite and I are on the same wave length for this place.
I ordered the Sausage and Peppers and man was it just flavorless. The warm French bread was the only thing worth eating. The lady at the front was nice, but said the sandwich is delicious… IT IS NOT DELICIOUS!
Holly crap that was a waste of 1000 calories… I doubt I will ever come back here. The only reason I gave this place a two was because of the customer service.
The girl asked me how it was, I said bland. She then recommended the Meatball Sub. I might have to come back just to rate them at one star if it sucks.

The pizza is yummy and so were the rolls (especially the chicken roll). The customer service was great as well, delivery has always been on time. Sometimes the pizza or rolls are a little undercooked though. That would be the only complaint.
