They’ve got your typical options but it’s just not working. In a world of pour over and cold-pressed these guys seem like they’re not really trying. Friendly service and an overall welcoming environment, but it’s like they’re just satisfied with mediocre coffee for the masses that don’t care about good coffee

Best & one of the few coffee shops on LBI near Surf City. We go there almost every day. The staff friendliness is hit or miss, but the products are consistent & the environment is fun!

Great atmosphere with a very friendly staff. We were visiting from central Jersey and will be back every time we visit LBI. I ordered an Iced Chai Latte, my husband and sister both got flavored iced coffees-all great. For food, we ordered a sausage egg and cheese on a whole wheat bagel and it came quick and was delicious.

Iced Latte w/Caramel was delicious along with bagels, cute atmosphere Nice option when surrounded by chains like Dunkin and WaWa. However a pricey choice

The atmosphere is nice. Everyone is friendly. However If you are someone who likes strong tasting coffee then consider somewhere different as all of their brewed coffees taste weak and lack the punch I desire when drinking coffee

How is everyone brewin’? Came here for a quick morning pick me up. I love quaint local coffee shops as opposed to the corporate coffee places that have taken over. Upon entry, I was very happy with the cozy and homey ambiance. Coffee was phenomenal and despite being a very high volume coffee shop the service was quick. Cashiers and bariatas were very personable and knowledgable. They also have quite a large selection of different kinds of coffee as well as milk alternatives to serve to those with food allergies and sensitivities. Also, I think it is important to note for my fellow celiac pals — I was happy to see that they offered gluten free muffins and snacks as part of their menu. Can’t wait to come back again!

Cute and hipstery mom and pop coffee shop, a block from the beach in Surf City. Coffee brews are strong, but not bitter. You can tell from the first sip that your day is about to get off to a great start. Bagels are just ok – more like fluffy, glorified rolls than New York-style bagels, and they only season one half of the outside of the bagel.(Which makes me crazy.) I’m pretty sure they’re imported from another part of town, and of course, some bagels and are better than no bagels. If bagels aren’t your thing and you’d rather get your muffin on, they have a great selection to pick from. We didn’t try any sandwiches, so I can’t vouch for them, but I would imagine they’d be pretty decent. Lots of space inside if you’d like to sit. Two computers for those who need Internet. Line was snaking out the door at 8am on a Saturday morning, so expect to wait. Service is pretty snappy, despite the long lines. This is definitely the kind of mom and pop shop you want to support. 1 iced coffee w/a shot of espresso, 1 cappuccino, 6 bagels, 4 muffins, and 1 kind bar cost just over $ 20, which I think is a pretty good deal for a Jersey Shore town on the Fourth of July. Skip Dunkin’, go local, and know you did a good deed. The karma will help keep the Man O’ War away.

Good stuff here… I enjoy the coffee and snacks they have on the menu and if feel like lounging out on the Internet or whatever anti-beach goers like to do this is the joint for you. To bad they don’t sell alcohol here that would be a big plus.

First sign that caught my eye when we moved to LBI, and I thought, «this place looks cozy!» It lived up to expectations. The décor is warm and inviting and there are a gazillion choices for coffee drinks, teas, sweet treats, and even light meals. Open all year round, it’s become a favorite spot to meet friends and«escape» to read, write, and relax. Free WIFI and great customer service seal the deal.

Nice coffee shop right near the beach. The prices were very low for the coffee which is all I had. They also offered bagels, sandwiches and wraps. As well as deserts. They had a very large seating area with comfortable chairs and seats if you wanted to sit at a table with your laptop. They also had desktop stations if you wanted to pay for the Internet or if you did not have a computer of your own. They have a 10 $ minimum for credit cards which was almost a problem thankfully my girlfriend had cash. The coffee itself was very good they had a few different kinds of coffee to choose from. I recommend the French roast if you like strong bold coffee. The staff were not exactly the friendliest group of people especially when you go to use card. They seem to get very annoyed that you don’t know it’s a 10 $ minimum. Besides that it is a nice place to grab a cup of coffee.

This is the worst coffee house in lbi. The place has a weird smell going on. The staff is not helpful, they have a bit of an attitude. There is no where in the store that states there is a $ 10 minimum on credit cards. So if you don’t have cash you have to total up to 10 dollars or buy one of their gift cards. Very disappointed. The coffee taste burnt.

Love the coffee! Always a variety of flavor for single cups and an even bigger variety for pound and half pound bags. They will grind the beans for you too. My son loves their hot chocolate. Staff has always been friendly. Aside from the mini cupcakes, I have not eaten there.

Looking for a cozy little coffee place to sit and chat with friends or surf the internet while taking a break from the beach? Then How you brewin’ is the place for you! The drinks are made right then and there to your liking which is a bit refreshing from your local Wawa or 7 – 11, and also accounts for the price of the beverage, which can compare to that of Starbucks. The baristas were very friendly and even helped my boyfriend to pick out a specialty coffee that had only vegan ingredients(syrups, soy milk, etc.) I wouldn’t personally go every day, but I do recommend it if you want a nice treat!

I didn’t try the coffee here, but I enjoyed my drinks and food, and the staff seemed nice enough. I believe they serve Republic of Tea teas, and they have quite a large selection of desserts. The information in old reviews about paid Internet access is outdated; it’s free and unlimited with a purchase, and was pretty fast too. Fox News was on the TV in the corner, which was kind of weird… but at least it was on mute. Overall, I found it a pleasant place to relax and get a little work done.

Yeah i unfortunately agree with the negative comments. I give it two stars for the shear fact that it is one of the only places on lbi to get an okay coffee.(Slightly better then wawa). If anything get the americano.
